smartest thing you said all day. its not worth the battle. if this is just a small personal grow ride it out and use water spray every 12 hours to keep them knocked down. then nuke your room and start over.

Webs you say , the colonies have built up on your plants and at this point they will explode even more as the webs become super highways in no time at all . You need to either bomb the hell out of that room or tear down and sterilize and count your loss before its a total one .
Spider mites can really become beyond a nightmare in a few days time once there numbers reach extreme count . If you need some help just say it and we can talk about the options you have at this point .

I haven't found anything better than Neem Oil. I'm a firm believer in it. I use the Southern AG brand from Home Depot.

I'm about to throw everything I have at these damn things. I hear those No Pest Strips work wonders...definitely not organic but I'm desperate. Throw whatever you've got at me professor....

Try a habanero pepper and water mix heard it doea well at killing the bugs but not the plant cut up pepper and seeds soak on stove top at lowest heat possible for a few min put in spray bottle an be generous

Glad your open to all options , I just made comments about this product tonight with Tricloud over at the mitt .
No Pest strip are made with Dichlorvos and this is an organophospate that is used in public health and also in food processing , the chemical itself evaporates rapidly but this works to our advantage .
I have used these with great success at all stages of development , the trick is to seal the room as tight as possible when using them . I do advise one strip for every 8x4 area . The ventilation system will need to be cut as you want maximum fumigation but do add extra air circulation by adding another fan . I simply call it a 2 day and 3 night treatment as I turn off all hot lights and rely on the overhead or use compacts when treating with this . I do this for this amount of time and highly advise it and then repeat once more with new strips in 3-5 days for any eggs that may have hatched .. I toss the strips as they are worthless for killing mites after 3 days time , the levels of Dichlorovos are very low by then and even gnats can tolerate it then .
If you read around on here you ll find many notes of comparison to mine and many as well the oppose this .. Be forwarned that most are not educated in the first place , so read up and understand what it is and how it works .
It will not kill you or harm you if you use it with caution and do not subject yourself to the fumes long term . Another reason for sealing the room , it protects other living creatures as this chemical will attack the nervous system with a vengeance . But used properly it is a common livestock and pet product used for parasites
Many older folks will remember this product as shell strips back in the day , they were very common in houses and were kept hanging in perforated cardboard .. I hate to say it but almost all food at one point or another has been subjected to this as well . Lab ests may reveal this once but never twice as it evaporation rate is rapid and it will be gone again into the air before it can be detected once again .

My tent is 3'x3'x6'....how many of those strips should I add and for how many hours should I shut down my ventilation in the tent? Overnight may cause me humidity issues but for a few hours it shouldn't be a problem...
I'm very interested in these strips as everyone who has used them says they work so I'm glad to have your seal of approval on this apparently very effective option.

Sorry to hear you got mites, Jonny. Good luck they are a bitch! Azamax, no pest strips and spinosad worked for me. You have to use multiple products on mites. Sucks you are so far into flower. I use azamax in veg as a preventative.

sorry to hear about the mites. I too had them about a year and a half ago. I sprayed with neem oil and found that it didn't cure the problem. I am now a firm believer of mighty wash! I used this product 4 times at 3 day intervals and they were gone. Wound up making hash out of the plants in the end. I just kept thinking that I was smoking bugs!!! I got them from a clone at a farmers market. Any clones i happen to acquire are always quarantined for at least a week. I did spray any clone down with mighty wash before I put them in the room. Now I just take my own clones. much safer!!!! Good luck Dude!!

Hey Jonny , I would use a strip cut in half for the tent . Keep the temps low and humidity will be less of a problem . I would shut the vent down for at least a day , you ll find all mites dead and all eggs , could repeat a few times in a week though . I just do the 2 days and 3 nights myself to ensure all eggs that hatched are killed off ..
Best of luck and I hope you find mites to be a thing of the past once you get through this all .

mighty wash. do it man, just do it! I can't overstate how well this worked for me. I am just me, I don't claim to know anything about anything but I had mites, I had them bad. I tried mighty wash first and only saw one single obviously fresh hatched mite the very next day. I treated them every 2 days (one on one off for 5 treatments) and washed them with water after the last treatment. Ironlabs didn't see any pesticide and the THC% was the same as before on other cuts of the plant and there was no noticeable change in color or taste. They just left. didn't really die mind you, they left. no bodies left on the leaves in a few days even just gone. I now use it before moving any plant to flower room, a light spray only. I think its probably cheapest route for you too, the small bottle should spray a tent that size once or twice and before you re-up to finish application you can see if it works or not for you. it kills/makes leave the mites, the eggs are unaffected so the every other day thing has to happen to get fresh hatched eggs as they hatch mites.

Then take all that shit off and put it in a bag and wash it. And take a shower. Toxic nasty shit. but like I said.. shock and awe or you will lose the battle.
i dont use floramite because socal borg are immune to it. they havent gotten immune to forbid yet.
theres also one called Judo i have on the shelf but havent used yet.
look for translaminar when searching. you want it to go through the leaves so it gets them anywhere. you can make other mitricides translam by adding tetra.
also a cunthair worth of dishsoap and the PH should be 4.5.
theres a couple guys on fleabay selling single use packs of all the nasty shit. Its illegal to do that from what ive read but they dont seem to have an issue. some wont ship to california becasue we dont like a lot of stuff here and its banned for non professionals.

if you are a minimum of 60 days from harvest I feel ok about it.
you have to remember all this shit gets used on your food and flowers so it cant be instant death poison.

These supermites seem to be rapidly becoming a nuisance, just read up on this very same topic on a breeder message board. Apparently these little bastards develop immunity in a hurry, which means eventually they'll be immune to all of them. I've been waging my own little war for the past 4 months, but my issue is small and I stayed on top of it from the first signs.
Within this link contains a lot of useful info on Azamax, Neem etc and how it works. I use water mixed w/organic dish soap, cayenne, and garlic just for good measure. The stuff is nasty, use in a well-ventilated area or you'll feel like you're being pepper sprayed.

yep same as the super viruses we have now as well. Comes from people taking antibiotics and feeling better and not taking the whole course and killing it all off. instead the virus left around develops immunity to that antibiotic, breeds and we have people dieing of flesheating super viruses.
same with mites. people hose down all kinds of shit and they are developing the same immunity. thats why you have to run multiple things to kill off everything so the one that got sprayed with avid and doesnt die doesnt escape and breed its immunity in the wild.

Jonny is officially ready to go to war now! I picked up my No Pest strip, a bottle of Wipe Out (kinda like mighty wash), and a can of Doktor Doom...these little bastards are in for a run for their money b/c I'm armed to the fucking teeth now
