Dude(tte) don't get all butt hurt because you posted such an embarrassing thread.
lol......... couple or three of those guys u call clowns are pretty good...........the rest are clowns.........That's extremely articulate. You're obviously an expert like the rest of some of these clowns on this board claim to be. This place has more attitude than it can handle.
You are right, but I never said that the Nitro would change the taste. I said overall using Nutes 1-2 weeks before harvest will effect the taste of your bud.
This guy admits to being a total newbie... and then proceeds to go on as if he knows what he is talking about. Flowering plants tend to need more phosphorous and less nitrogen. Some fan leaf yellowing just prior to harvest is not a big deal. Depending on growing style the leaves may turn yellow, orange, red... or in other words 'autumn off' as harvest time approaches.nitrogen does not change taste. that is genetics or probably because your N-P-K is all fucked i.e. high P- K low N. You got yellow leaves at the end cuz you starve them. go green.
Anywhere warm, dark with good circulation will do. It also helps if the humidity isn't high, or you can use Damp-Rid in the room you're drying in. A little nugglet might dry out in as little as 12-18 hours, then it would be good to put it in a little sealed jar for a few and then come back to check it. I have dried whole plant harvests and jarred them up in as little as 3-4 days. Even without prolonged curing the smell and taste were exceptional (I grow in living soil, though ).I don't feel like reading through all the posts, and I'm sure everybody else has already said this, but there's no real way of quick testing your stuff and wet weed will not get you high. First you have to let it dry enough to smoke and then it seems to require a minimum of 2-3 days in the jar before you really truly get high. The quickest way to test the weed is cut a bud and put it in front of a heating vent, but since it's now summer months most places I doubt you have the heat blasting. Good luck with whatever though.
I've seen the test done with my own eyes There is a significant difference in using nutes the last 1-2 weeks in soil. I notice the chlorophyll taste a lot more when big bloom was still being added to the OG day 62 of flower. Stopped using it with half the plants on day 57, and continued with other half. They cured the EXACT same in mason jars, (as good as exact can be, of course stem size and bud size plays a role) But what I noticed big time was the harshness compared to the other. And flushed 5 days before harvest. I mean to each is own, but for me, I seemed to notice the big difference in tasteThat is not really true for soil or hydro.
If you do not feed plants in coco/hydro you stress them. I am about a week away from picking and I feed my plants every day.
Buds do not store nutrients.
Just finished my 5th grow with four plants (WW, Haze, AK, Kush) and they all turned out nothing. I thought the WW would pack some hit cause it looks like it's growing some amber triches (others did not). I tried some last night and there was nothing. (WW is well into flowering and I'll probably toss it.) I have to go back to pure indica to try something easier. So frustrating. They are so sensitive to every little thing. And I have to try some tea to develop a very good root system. Used foxfarm nutrients and organic soil.
Lol Foxfarm soil is the shitobamshizznit.....partial to Happy Frog myself... only for moms though hempy pots for flowers...which is cheap too....Maxsea is waaaay better than miracle gro imho not knocking MG I have used b4, MS is cheaper too keeping with the "on the cheap" spirit....20 lbs for 100 bucks Sun drying may be ok for Produce but most here are growing medicine....to each their own but I think eventually you will stop sun curing.Throw away your Foxfarm soil and whatever snake oil nutrients you bought. Go to walmart and buy the cheapest bag of potting soil they have, then get a 3 $ bottle of miracle grow. Then throw away whatever weed grow book you have and remember hard back to kindergarden when you grew that bean sprout in a cup. the teacher explained you need light, soil, and water to grow the plant. You have been brainwashed and taken advantage of by a bullshit 'weed growing' industry that has 0 accountability. Get a book on 'house plant' care. and you will be on your way. dry your weed in the sun and forget any weird curing tech people tell you.

Now we're talking about flushing, who has something wrong with their flusher ? Call a plumber....And flushed 5 days before harvest. I mean to each is own
That's bullshit, there are hundreds of good cannabis growers on this website. Are most of them clowns? I guess that's a nice way of putting it. I would have gone with "douche bags with partially skewed knowledge and falsified overblown egos".lol......... couple or three of those guys u call clowns are pretty good...........the rest are clowns.........
Oh, I don't agree with what Imp says, I'm just sayin weed is not hard to grow. I agree light degrades thc, and I no longer use miracle gro, but i got decent weed with it. I never said you would grow med grade weed, but it won't be garbage either.I don't like seeing people give EXTREMELY bad advice. He doesn't need all the bells and whistles we have...But he doesn't need bad advice. I never suggested a damn thing to him besides to not take bad advice...This guy is feeding him nonsense about drying in the sun, and chemically nitrogen rich bullshit miracle-grow houseplant food. There is a rule of thumb when it comes to CHEAP nutrients and Miracle grow... it is "If it has a tomato on it use it, if it doesn't, it will hurt you or someone else." I can grow a plant the side of a bedroom with miracle grow...big as fuck, fat buds, and beautiful looking..BUT IT WILL TASTE LIKE SHIT AND YOU WILL BE PUTTING HARMFUL CHEMICALS IN YOUR LUNGS" Kinda defeats the purpose of growing your own bud...doesn't it?
IDK man, Big Bloom is a very low NPK plant food... there is still the matter of how much is being applied, and what kind of 'soil'. Although, I see no reason to use any nutrients a week before you plan to harvest, in soil. In a living soil (soil in nature is alive), colonies of microbes are proliferating in the rhizosphere, breaking down organic matter, metabolizing compounds and releasing "waste" as plant-usable nutrients, or otherwise producing nutrients (e.g. N-fixing, nitrifying bacteria), or seeking nutrients\water for the plant directly (e.g. mycorrhizal fungi), or simply storing nutrients inside of their cells within the rhizosphere. The beneficial microbes and greater soil food web are nourishing and protecting the plant, and on it's own the plant can derive nutrition from it, indefinitely... so long as the microbes that make up the foundation of the soil food web are being taken care of. Those liquid organic 'plant' foods are feeding the plant in a more indirect manner. Low doses of a liquid organic, or some AACT should suffice up until the final couple weeks, and then water only.I've seen the test done with my own eyes There is a significant difference in using nutes the last 1-2 weeks in soil. I notice the chlorophyll taste a lot more when big bloom was still being added to the OG day 62 of flower. Stopped using it with half the plants on day 57, and continued with other half. I'm not the one messin it up, I have been quoted in another post, and it is credited to vegaskush, and I am on a PC. I am not messin anything up. Thought being a mod and all, you would at least try to be helpful. I would expect an answer like that from some clown poster, but whatever, no skin off my ass.cause youre messing crap up you on a mobile or ipad or something?
i start each day w a quart jar of coffee and a ball of hash........sometimes i get shit confused ........ honestly i was thinkn this thread......sorryThat's bullshit, there are hundreds of good cannabis growers on this website. You must be... quite a few people have in this thread, when attempting to quote multiple posts. You need to make sure your BB tags are in order, perhaps the closing tag is missing. Now, there are plenty of experienced, knowledgeable growers on here who want to help others learn how to grow or help out with issues. And there are tens to hundreds of inexperienced 'growers', kids, and jokers...at any given moment, in any given forum. Some people just don't take shit seriously and expect that others shouldn't either. Some people might claim to be experts and aren't, but you should never assume the person giving advice on a pot forum is an "expert"... even if they claim to be.
Growing Cannabis in media (or soil) is much like growing any other plant, sure. Although, not exactly and then considering what most of us are going to do with the harvest (smoke or inhale). Some Cannabis strains are nutrient-hogs, most just wont tolerate low-light very well (windowsill wont do), they prefer airy, well-draining soil and they generally will not tolerate high temperatures and poor ventilation. So, if you're going to make a thread about what a failure your grow is turning out to be at least include some of the pertinent details and some photos.
Did I hurt your feelings little guy? Funny how we are all trolls, but you are the one that has offered nothing.Have you read my posts?
Go on now if you haven''t, I'll wait.
Still want to stop me having my one little moment of humour?
(trolls really are wasting their time on someone with as much Sugar Punch as I have)
