Hey all, just started off the season with (3) G13 clones. Going on about 3 1/2 weeks now and their starting to stretch pretty quickly. I decided to try a few different growing techniques with these. For one I chose to top the plant at about 13" and just built a scrog net for the (LST). Another, I also topped and I am just letting it go while tying down branches and twisting the stem in every which way. And the last plant I didn't do any topping just pruning off the unnecessaries down bottom. From what I've heard about the previous genetics of my strain of G13, it is a super stretcher so I'd like to see its full height with the un-topped plant. I decided to go with general organics "GoBox" because it will be all that's needed for my (3) babies start to finish. Also thrown in the weekly nute mix is hygrozyme for nutrient absorption, and occasional superthrive for stressful situations. My soil mix is half Pro-Mix with mychorrizae fungi and half Fox Farms "Ocean Forest" in 20 gallon containers. In the past week I have fimmed all the plants. Yes...even the ones I topped and have had significant node development in all (3). One problem I am having is bug munching on thefan leaves. Not sure what could be doing it any ideas? My goal for these babies is to have some pounders even with the limited space. Any suggestions, comments, criticism or props would be greatly appreciated!
