Have i SCROGged correctly?

I put a wooden fence thingy on bricks over my plant today to try and do a SCROG, have i done it correctly?

Yes and no. Lmao. It will work but what i would do.....lol. Id hammer in nails at all the points where the trellis meets the frame. Let the nails stick out a little bit and then wrap nylon or somthing that wont mold around it and make your own trellis. Then cut the wooden trellis out of the frame or maybe before you wrap the string so you dont cut it accidentally. Right now you are cutting off almost 50% of the light that your plant could possibly get. Also that plant looks pretty small to be scrogged. You would probably be better off doing some LST work on it to just open her up a little bit. Its easy to do and will actually help the scrog if you choose to do it when she is big enough to use it more effectively.

I appologise in advance for stealing pics cause this is not my pic but i think the poster of it wouldnt mind that its being used for teaching. Hes a nice guy like that this is the best scrog evaaaar. What is your objective? What are you attempting to solve, achive etc?

Keep in mind a frame that holds your plants, but is not secure in any fashion, may present issues if bumped. (tops pull back through, break, get cut off etc.)

Fishing line, might not be the better idea. (unless its around 60lb test or stronger, the diameter of line is too thin and yes, will cut into the stem) The clear line may also cause burning from a magnification effect (not sure on that one).
Not said to suggest following the trends or anything, but most of whats used today (see other threads here at RIU) works well. (rubber coated fence purchased at most harware stores is a cheap option with some great benifits, and would likely suit you too)
