The only active pesticide listed on that Doktor Doom is pyrethrins, which are organic compounds that come from chrysanthemum flowers. They break down from exposure to light and oxygen. I think if you originally said you used pyrethrin, rather than "doktor doom" there would be less people telling you you poisoned your bud.
Just did a little reading on it and it looks like you are correct.

I still wouldn't want to smoke bud covered in it ..... but it doesn't look like it poses any health risks (except to his cat).

I am in a situation where that would never happen. Some people aren't children scraping for weed living from harvest to harvest. I get handed more orgnanic, pesticide free herb every week for free than you could imagine. I mostly give it away because I don't smoke very much flower.
No need to be a douche bag profiling people you don't even know as profiteering drug dealers, but thanks for the inappropriate fucked up assumption. Some of us work for a living.

Yes sir this has been one hell of a learning experience! First, I learned not to overcrowd your grow area...less is better sometimes. Secondly, when you notice anything strange happening to your leaves or plants, (i.e. little white spider mite spots, for instance) check that shit out thoroughly and don't assume things are OK. I also learned preventative maintenance when it comes to bugs as well as the importance of changing clothes and maintaining a grow area / room that is as sterile as possible.

I'm getting ready to start 4 feminized aurora's from nirvana and I'm going to throw them under some CFL's so when my crop is done in a few weeks, I can throw these aurora's right on in there and try my hand again with my new found knowledge. All in all, this has been a great grow both in terms of learning how to deal with another pest (fungus gnats last grow) as well as the quality of what is soon to be the "finished product". Super excited to begin my next grow and see if I can have a FLAWLESS grow this time around. I also will no longer be using FF ocean forest and I will instead go with Pro Mix all the way through. Jonny is weary of pests in this organic dirt and I don't have the patience to sterilize 20 gallons of dirt in my oven.

jonny, clean every square inch of that tent with a strong bleach solution before moving in new plants. When you think it's clean, scrub it down again!

Those fucking spider mites and their eggs would survive a nuclear winter so you need to be on top of eliminating them before the new girls arrive in the tent.

Page 2 of AZAMAX information/cautionary booklet-hazards to humans and domestic animals- harmfull if absorbed through the skin or INHALED. Avoid BREATHING vapor.Causes mild eye irratation. prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. WASH THOROUGHLY WITH SOAP AND WATER AFTER HANDLING AND BEFORE EATING DRINKING CHEWING GUM, SMOKING, OR USING THE TOILET. If INHALED move person to fresh air, if person is not breathing call 911 or an ambulance then give c.p.r. call poison control. unless your scrubbing your buds with soap and water you shouldent use this product in flower. the booklet also says it is systemic wich means it actually goes INTO the plant (more so when used as a soil drench) and will stay IN your plant for 4 weeks. its only safe up till the day of harvest if its a tomato or something you can wash thoroughly with soap and water and if you havent soil drenched in 4 weeks. Not trying to tell you your wrong I just want people to know the facts as i am currently looking right at the azamax caution booklet. Its awesome for veg though, wiped out aphids with jacks dead bug and azamax mix in one treatment just make sure you rinse the shit out of em before flowering the plants.

Fair enough. I'll do my own double checking but as far as I know, azamax is derived from organic plant matter and is about as safe as it gets. So far as I know (again, I'll double check myself), azamax is safe up to the day of harvest. And if I remember correctly, the information I remember reading claimed azamax was ok for garden variety herbs as well.

BTW, the blue dream I grew and cured (which took several baths in azamax) is better than anything I have ever purchased at a dispensary and better than most of what goes around locally in GR. I'll report back after I do some fact checking.

And, I'll go ahead and assume that most people in michigan who are growing for themselves now that it's legal are similar to myself. I smoked mexican brick garbage weed for probably 6-8 years of my youth and god only knows the kinds of pests and pesticides I consumed over that period of time, so in short, jonny is very little concerned about azamax.

Here's the MSDS http://generalhydroponics.com/site/gh/docs/prod_msds/azamax.pdf

Lots of mild irritation if you decide to spray the shit in your eyes, but otherwise looks fairly non threatening. Any more boogie man stories today?

Watch out for the two spotted super mites , those little fuckers will swim in Azamax/ Azatrol and lap it up all day long while sucking sap as it does not phase them or slow down there reproduction .. Organabliss is a neem seed oil product that was used initially too as a miticide but at the required levels it can mutate plants and still the mites build immunity , and quick sad to say .

Mites suck and I hope Jonny is mite free now!

Professor, I always am happy to hear and respect your point of view!

I have 5 Aurora's feminized from Nirvana that are happily vegging under my super sweet brand spanking new 2'x2' 8 bulb high output T-5, and oh is jonny happy :)

I did a double wipe down of 10% bleach solution in my entire tent spaced about 5 days apart, which was about 3 weeks after my harvest of the blue dream that was saturated with mites. Hopefully they're eliminated at this point as eggs are only viable for a week or two (if jonny remember right?), so there should be no more presence of mites 4 weeks after harvest and a double down of 10% bleach solution.

Jonny has learned about Integrated Pest Management through horticultural websites and and if you just google IPM system's, you'll find exactly what you need to fend off these 'lil fuckers.
