Well guys I'm going on my 4th day of my grow and still no signs of a sprout in any of my germinated planted seeds. Ill give them another week at the max and then I think I might throw the towel in on trying to grow considering I will have had over 20 failed attempts at soil growing.
I never would have thought it would be so hard to grow.

Dude I waited a week, and FINALLY got growth... by that time. I had already planted another one in there... cuz I thought it 'didn't work' and now I have two plants per pot... lol I'm only running 6 CFLs vegging right now... so we'll see how it goes....

I'm not very hopful seeing my last try at growing multiple germinated seeds didn't even sprout. I'm not sure if its because these were old shitty bag seeds or what. Everything I hear is if it pops a taproot which all mine did then it should grow which mine did not and still aren't lol. Just highly discouraged as I spent a shit ton of time the last few weeks preparing and buying equip.

Its taken me up to 8 days for a seed to sprout after germination. If you are seeing the taproot before you plant it then the problem must be on your end. Are you over watering? Under watering? Is the humidity too low? Too cold? Too hot? Is your soil too dense? There could be a variety of causes! Just keep trying under different conditions until it works out.

Temp first run was between 75-85 at all times. Humidity was good and I believe I over watered some of them but once I realized it I made sure soil was moist not dry or really wet. I'm sure its not helping the cause being they are pretty old bag seeds. Some of the seeds that germinated had a black taproot so I'm not sure what that's about and all the seeds were together in a little glass jar. I've tried rockwool phd down to 5.5 I've also tried rapidroot starters and just straight garden scape soil and made sure not to plant to deep.
