I second that, all my plants range from 2-4 colas now. Bad boy technique.

Ok .. so I FIM'd Betty the other day, and this is what she looks like today ... I'm not sure if I did it right, how does she look?

I honestly don't know if FIMMING give one more kola's than topping as I've always topped. But from what I've seen, you've fimmed correctly.

I never top my plants that early. I find that topping 7-10 days before putting them into flower works better, you end up with an even canopy in flower.
