I think you should invest in better nutes from other companies such as advance nutrients i have been using both vegetative and bloom the final product wasnt that bad but i think you should check this video YouTube - Nutrient Challenge it makes change my mind about general hydroponic i hope this help you.

That's a good video, but it's pure bullshit. I got a good laugh out of it, and if the guys at AN could grow weed as well as they hype their bullshit, they would be the best in the world. If you believe any of that crap, good for you, cling to that.

Here is my opinion on gh nutes, I switched to hydro for the first time, using the lucas formula I have had success I have never eperienced before with gh nutes, (wich I bought after I had already spent lots of money on all the pure blend pro nutes and add ons wich I stopped using...) and everything has been super easy, if I ever get the nuts up to post a picture or 2 I will. But I have done far better in hydro with gh nutes than ever in dirt (obviously this is for me personally)... and I will never switch back to dirt again.

I have used GH for 3

with great success. If you are going to grow hydro you need to know what you are doing. It is to easy to blame your failures on the nutes
instead of learning form your mistakes. I'm
sure there are better nutes
out there but I know from experience
that GH is a good product.

I didn't say that AN nutes are bad, they work just fine. They just don't work so much better than others like their marketing hype says. And they are even more ridiculously expensive than most nutes.
What I am saying is that you can do just as well for much less money. Their video said that other company's nutes grew plants with THC of 6% and their nutes grew plants with THC of 21%??? Like I said, pure crap.

this details the lucas formula, earl on this site suggested this before I started hydro and it has been super helpful, I could have never had the type of results I am having now without all the info from the people at riu and links like this

im doing my first grow with gh nutrients and heard they work well. my prob is the ppm i need. my tap water is 170ppm. ive read 3-4 weeks just water then i read in another book 300ppm for seedling growth is ideal. . .sooo idk any help would be awsome.

I would do seedlings at plain water then up them in ppm maybe 300ppt but not to high... what I have read is that with cfls never go over 700ppt @7 and if you are under hps stay @ 1300ppm @7 conversion, this is what I have done and everything has been great... but all these readings are with ro water

yes,
search the lucas formula or any other solid info about hydro and it will explain it all, pure and simple gh nutes work great with no additives needed... with ro water of course...
