auto flower outside

I'm in Michigan. I want to grow an auto flower strain outside. Will it flower in June with 15 hours of sunlight? Thanks for any input

I did one last year put in july 1 and cut 1st week of oct.
If that helps. Maybe the longer light would help you. I only got an oz.

I guess my question is can an auto flower strain finish in 15 hours of sunlight a day? Like a strain that is a 55 days flowering time. In Michigan, if I start it outside June 15, will it be finished mid august?

its my understanding that is what they are used for. they flower faster and you harvest before fall when the helicopters fly over.

Yeah, autos will finish ...most autos are bean to bud in 75 days...I put some out in may that are almost done...just start em inside in the pot they are going to finish in..no transplanting.

The breeder of "Spyder" of Black Creek Gardens was in this forum and is from MI. I think it was Abe
that said he finished it in is veg room and it came out looking just like the guys picture on attitude.
It say's 70 days on attitude.

I have grown 5-6 strains different autos.. yield was anywhere from pitiful 12 grams to very good 3 plus zips. Smoke was from garbage to pretty damn good. They seem to be leafier outdoors. Got some SOS freebies auto amnesia n auto sweet tooth now, let ya know.

Thanks for the shout out, if you like sativa dominant frosty purple buds, I think you will like Spyder. It does very well outdoors.

If you were growing guerilla style you could start it inside for 20 days and finish in late July. That is one reason I can think of.
People are buying them so they have their use's apparently.

The yield is pretty decent on most autos, its the potency that needs to be stepped up..not sure how feasible that is with ruderalis in the background.

Do you have a pic of the spyder?

dude, not bad. hard to tell its auto by looking, any idea what the THC % is on that thing? Actually anyone take any auto to a lab? I' m interested, not that I'll ever grow one just interested.

thanks everyone for the nice replies. canned abyss did a very good job with this auto.

some advice for anyone with an open ear. when you start an auto outside in early to mid spring it helps to either start inside or provide supplemental lighting outside(if possible) untill mid june for a larger yield. when you start your second batch in early june its not as big a deal. if this plant gets rootbound she usually stops growing and flowers out, so stress at an early age is a very troubling thislumdog80

100grams one plant 75days is not a waste in my book!

no disrespect corso312, but I believe the yield lacks from grower error, and the potencey is up. you have got to try some spyder my friend. best of luck! :peace:

I smoke some of the best photo's out there, and this is as good or better. The terpenes , and color are amazing.
