Wasn't George Van Patten aka Jorge a photographer for high times way back when and thats how he actually gained access and info? I don't want to perpetuate something thats not true, just wondering if what I heard anyone else had?

i'm not sure about that, although i don't doubt it, bcuz if you've ever noticed, every garden he ever features are not his own.. i don't think jorge has ever grown a tomato plant, never less cannabis, all he does is has some great back stage passes that allows him into some top notch growers gardens, whom it appears he asks tons of questions and takes pix of their gardens, passing second hand info off as his own..
you ever read any of the ask jorge section of high times? tons of bad (inaccurate) info given out over the years imvho.. danny dorko seems even worse than jorge, if that is at all even possible..

lol, yeah, i have to say the one magazine that's really let me down over the years it's hands down high times.. back in the 70s and early 80s they were all about the counter culture movement and the like, come the late 80s and onwards and they've just totally sold themselves out to advertisers and is pretty unreadable at the best of times..
i'll pick it up once in awhile if they have a good story, imagine that, but i mostly prefer skunk mag as they are more about the smaller guys, and have yet to sell their soul for a few advertising dollars..

lifelong ht subber...every once in a while theres still a gem...but rare...I hate the interviews with celebs that get high...most useless crap ever

High times fell off. In only get the specials. And only if its good. Cannabis culture was cool too but when Marc got slapped by the feds. That mag fell off a bit too. Always thought the seed catalog in front was cool too.

Cannabis culture was a good one, but they went under after marc's jailing.. i think they're digital only now, if even that..

    Possible Strain ID opinions/suggestions, first plant (was gifted it)

    Greetings and salutations. I have a few major inquiries, and would like some assistance with experts. I was graciously gifted this gal, Alice, two days ago. She is two months old. I REALLY wish for her to survive, so I am looking to receive a few quality answers.

    Firstly:

    - Recently acquired, total newbie for sure, 2 months old, in a 7 gal pot. Non-MG soil. The leaves are deep-light green, but definitely green at that. I have been using natural sunlight, which I already know it will certainly need more than just natural sunlight, She is fed with nutrients, I will provide what kind, but I do not have that information atm, it has nirtogen and magnesium in it which I had mixed a tablespoon per quart of water. I am not sure if every plant does this, but she has alternating branches, meaning they criss-cross going up the plant, with four branches stemming from the same point for each portion of the stem.

    Okay, may I ask:

    - Would anyone happen to know, by either picture, what this strain is or is similar to?
    - In a 7-gallon, would a half-gallon of water/nutes in 2.5 days be considered over-watering?
    - She is a bit droopy of late, could it be due to over-watering, (under-watering?), not enough light, or a combination?
    - Do I even need fertilizer? Could I use only 6.5 pH water and she will still thrive and grow further?
    - Other than watering, feeding, regulating light/ventilation, examining, and occasional pruning, what more do I need to do to ensure she will live well and thrive a long while?
    - Music helps, correct?

Um last I checked the sun is the best hid lamp in the world. Unless you live on a predator game preserve planet that has three suns.
