help with ozone generator

I'm still in veg and my crop is starting to smell strong outside. I've pretty much decided to buy an ozone generator before flowering but I don't know exactly what I need or the best way to use it. I'm looking at getting a CAP OZN 1 generator(1000mg/hr). I have 6 plants, would that generator be enough? or maybe too much? I'm not looking to get a sore throat and chest pains every time I go in my grow room because of ozone concentration. Should I run it on a timer? I would like to mount it in my exhaust but there's no possible way. Any ideas or experiences would be much appreciated.

1000mg/hr is really nothing... That's 1 gram/hour. The generator shouldn't be in the grow room around your plants - you might end up killing your plants. Don't play with ozone if you don't know what you are doing - could end up killing yourself as well.

I've heard ozone is rough and I have no experience using it so good thing I asked, I was thinking it would be good for the plants by cleaning the room and turning pollutants into co2. A carbon filter crossed my mind but I wasn't sure how well it would work either. Surprisingly my house doesn't smell much and no one has said anything, but my exhaust vents out to my backyard and on my patio its easy to get a strong whiff of it and friends have mentioned the smell. I just don't want the odor to reach my neighbors so I figured ozone might be good, then once it gets outside the ozone would dissipate.
