It was unfortunate the two sides couldn't come up with a deal when the #'s were not that far off. They should have signed him to a 3 year deal before franchising him for 9 million...for 1 year. But the Patriot organization runs there team just like what it is, a business. And player agents do the same, making decisions mostly influenced by the mighty dollar. Long ago are the days of Loyalty to both player and team.I have been thinking about how letting Wes go was a horrible idea. To top it off he goes to Peyton Manning. This will come back to haunt us.
