The first raid missed by more than 10 miles and killed more than 100 US troops + a Four Star and injured more than a thousand.

Nope, The Retired Adm. lives right up the street. Was on Massachusetts when America fired the first shot of WWII at Bart over at the White House (Casablanca) dropping off Patton covered in Battleship die from Bart almost killing him with a 15"gun. The same Battleship that fired the last shot of WWII, He was Admiral Staff then. Great source and great stories when he`s had a few !i

Haha, I don't think ships can fly - so I have to discredit whatever he says on the matter... You also may want to rewrite wikipedia since they have a whole section on the RAF and USA firebombing Berlin.

That was in 45. In early 49 the Federal Republic of Germany was formed,(West Germany) no longer does the US, British and French rule or govern West Germany. In late 49 the German Democratic Republic was formed by the Russians (East Germany) and was Governed by Russia. The Russian captured Berlin, held half of it until 88 or 89 when Germany was reunited. They always had control of East Germany since 45, Not so for the US British, and French who rebuilt West Germany and gave it back in 49. The wall was built in 61 due to no agreements and breaches in the boarder control. The Russians closed their half. When you hold half, and three others hold the other half,...Who`s in charge ?

US troops were there the entire time as safeguard against Russia taking it all. They were the only one`s that could. They handed over West Germany to the Federal Republic of Germany in 49 and governed it NO MORE. Although the Yalta Conference in 45 was the start of the cold war, it was in late 49 that Russia detonated an atomic bomb and refused to give back their part of Germany, like the US, French and British did. This was the REAL COLD WAR beginning !i STOP USEING WIKI. It`s edited at will and totally unreliable !i

Did you know that Hitler conquered the entire Middle East with a 45 minute phone call from home and gave it French rule ? The US has been there almost 12 years now and still aint gained one inch of Real Estate. Do you see a difference in the way the US fights and the way Hitler fought ? That`s the difference between good and evil !i I`m all sleepy eyed and outta here, be back some other day !i
