its kind of a grey area here....the cops generally don't mind you smoking it, in fact as long as you aren't near a school or something no one cares....its true that its a very open thing here. it is illegal, but you see, personal privacy rights supersede weed law.....if you grow and smoke in your own home and arent selling it its all good, and 9 out of 10 times if u do get caught growing, they may confiscate plants but there won't b any serious issue as long as its obvious that there's no intent to deal.....they are happier that it stops dealers, there are a lot of private weed associations, member clubs etc etc, big thing here, laid back country its awesome.
thats kinda what i gleaned from the research i did before i started growing. i read about one guy, got caught with ALOT of plants, i mean hundreds, and his reason was that he was trying diff strains to see which worked best for his illness.....they took the plants n he got a slap on the wrist lol...
still doesnt stop me from.getting a bit paranoid every now and then.....but i think the most we really have to worry about is the bugs hahaha viva españa!
