here is my temporary setup! it's obviously unfinished but for now it is functional! hps on the left! 200w dual spectrum cfl on the right! it's hanging sideways for a reason.. it's not at all ideal..

finaly got my hands on the beauty that is HPS!!! omnomnomnomnomnom! and it came with a reflector and (kush will appreciate this!) a magnetic ballast! nice and quiet. AND BLOOODY HEAVY.. lol! and the cherry on the cake? i was given another reflector and a 200w duaL spectrum cfl as well!! i'm swimming in light!

Buy a toggle. drill hole in front of case. instal toggle on ignitor wires, and buy a metal halide. you will enjoy the results

Picture time! my Top Dawg is looking a bit sad.. i haven't seen much growth on her... quite worried. she's showing no signs of anything wrong.. it's odd.. not like my bloody autos! they are growing like mad. and LOVING the hps. anyway here they are. there are a LOT of bud shots! god damn i wish i had a better camera! but alas. the Autos are 8 weeks old. and the top dawg is in week 7 of flower! i apologize for the sideways photos....... grumble grumble.

finally sorted out my grow room! all i need now is proper mylar and maybe another fan!


and before i ruin that mank carpet anymore, i wiill be placing something under my plants for watering..

Oh yeah you can. no one will shit on yah for upgrading the thing. It will cost 5€ and about 10 mins. its so you can run both bulbs. anyone will thank you for it.

otherwise, if you put a mh in a hps fixture, the ignitor will wreck the bulb. fast. its something that should be done to all hps ballasts.

Don't know how I missed this thread, Barney's Top Dawg is one of my favourites that I've grew many times. It doesn't get enough love in my opinion. Very little variation though there is one mutant I occasionally came across, a definite runt compared to the normal Top Dawg. It yields next to nothing but the taste is indescribable, not for everybody but I loved it. I stopped growing the TD's a while back but this thread has me thinking to throw one into my next grow.

i have a decent clone i intend to keep safe as a mother for when i'm a bit more experienced in growing. GOOOORGEOUS smell from her. and it's a rare strain to see a journal on alright..

Looks great Cloudi!! You`ve done a great job there, I`d say you don`t have long with your AF`s ... never done them before, but by those pics I`d say your trichs are probably about 50/50 now. Make sure to get us some drying shots,

thant up to you. buy a jewlers loupe, pocket scope, or any other good magnifyer. riffle scopes work to, i bought a stolen one off a crackhead eastside Van years ago. it worked real good from halfway across the room. thats how you had to use it. to close and you cant see fuckall.

you decide when to harvest, i tend to harvest when their are more clear and less cloudy. depends on the high you want.
