I have had positive experiences...,my colas are always rather large yet I have no side by side comparisons to speak of. I would avoid it during initial flower development, the first week of 12/12 seems ok but until the colas are really established I do not. A warning that the plants get very bushy and the canopy gets less light penetration. That is my biggest problem.....underestimating the space each plant will require and ending up crowding them. The supercropping I do in veg and early flower is to encourage branching.....in mid/ late flower I see it as a booster and use it under the majority of the cola. I also get a lot of undergrowth and do a 2 step harvest sometimes. I take off all the biggest tops and lower the light for a week and the popcorn really matures. I do not know about the effect on overall yeild, but the flowers look big and beautiful.
