Years Ago I made this prediction: Detroit will go bankrupt.

Looks like my prediction is about to come true.

i worked for american roadside assistance for over 3ish years and before that billing for comcast for 2. they could never tell i was canadian, i dont say aboot.

and how is debt not often a good thing? properly leveraged, debt can be a great fucking tool.

It's a damn shame to see this. What was once the hub of the automotive industry is now a dust bowl. People took pride in working for the big automotive companies because it was one of the things america was known for. I hope we get back to a culture of innovation one day. We need to bring back the space program and get caught up with japan in the car market. I know the US makes hybrids but I see more foreign hybrids than american ones.

Heck I would love a job at a big factory maintaining robotic welders but there aren't enough of those types of jobs out there but when there are I'll be ready.

so you're gonna travel thousands of miles and opt to pay sales tax instead of supporting our home state of oregon?

I was thinking we should fence it off and make it a modern day version of what Australia original was, a prison.
