Colored reflective material for growing?

Im currently growing with a buddy at his house and we are using the typical silver aluminum foil as our reflective material around the walls. I have multiple healthy plants one week into flowering and like to experiment with my plants so I was wondering if anyone has used different colored foils as their reflective material during flowering? As in a pink or orange or red color? I know it wont give of quite as much reflection but i have sufficient lighting anyways so I'm thinking using a different color may have different/ profound effects on the turn out of the buds....

This is my opinion and only an opinion:

I think all it's going to do is reduce reflection at all wavelengths except the color of the foil and it would be better to change the color of the lights and continue to use full-spectrum reflective material.

EDIT: It's anecdotal, but a lot of people have reported good results with LED designs using more than just the red and/or blue part(s) of the spectrum...and even more than just the visible part. A colored reflector will exclude those parts.

you would just be reflecting less light in my opinion. Reflecting off a colored film wont increase plant friendly wavelengths it will just filter out other colors

what about something like a really light color? like a light blue or gold? I cant find any answers on google for it... there has to be some effect on the plant with different colors....

wavelengths generated by the light source yes measured in NM, most LED grow lights make the exact colors plants like which is mostly red with some blue. Pretty much the light is a insane magenta color
I like LEDs because a LED will make only a single wavelength of light. while other light sources make white light which pretty much means its every color in the spectrum

and like i said i have the correct lighting. I have adequate tube florescents with correct 2700 k bulbbs with a small silver reflective hood so it would be getting the full spectrum off of that. I'm saying possibly using the colored reflective material around the sides of that while still keeping the silver reflective hood up. And plus if spectrum was the problem, they make full spectrum 100w CFLs that give off a full spectrum of color for like 4 dollars each... If i try using a reflective color on a plant should i post pics to show what it does?

So are you saying possibly get a mix of a red and blue reflective material?

you can try by all means, my point is tinting the foil a color will just absorb light taking it away from the plant. Its been a while since i took science class but if you put a red film up that simply means its actually absorbing the red light and taking some away from the plant

so what about tinting it a blue color or something to take away any color it doesnt like during flowering?
