and people like brother jeraldine harrassing my thread with his 3 cronies because he has nothing better to do. he states that plants are unable to uptake heavy metals, flushing will not remove them and that my entire thread was a waste of time for any new grower because he disagreed with 2 of my 25 bullet points. the other offenders are trousers, chuck estevez and impman, all notorious trolls on this board

We had a thread on this a while back, and it was amazing how many people supported these douche bags demanding advice, pissed off when no one replied to their posts in 15 minutes with definitively answers, arguing with experienced growers, etc.
That was also about the time I quit posting in the help sections and started just using this site for mostly my own selfish desires.
I'll help someone who is willing to help themselves, the rest can be not high and cry over their dead plants, don't care.

unfortunately many noobs expect to be spoon fed , this is certainly not unique to the weed growing community
you should try helping noobs fix their computers if you want to experience truly ungrateful imbecilic bastards
these fools should not be allowed near computers and should be forced to use eyefones

1. asking stupid questions you want us to answer when you can find the easy solution literally the next thread down the page .
2. opening with a defensive response like : " I DONT GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT MG , MG IS FUCKING GREAT AND ANYONE WHO DISAGREES CAN GO FUCK THEMSELVES...NOW SOMEONE TELL ME WHATS WRONG WITH MY PLANTS"
3. someone takes something the wrong way through a misunderstanding and come back at them with sassy attitude instead

You just have to put in the time to weed through the people that don't know what they're talking about and to "ignore" all the trolls. Riu is a pretty nice place after that. It's always good to do a search before hand to see if you can find answers for your question. Google is a good source. When you do start a thread asking a question, be patient it takes time to get good answers. Then when the answers start coming in, wait and see if you can get a consensus. If you don't get one, then it's probably a moot topic and you'll just have to try things out and see what works for you.
I think there is an unwritten set of forum commandments; maybe they should be made explicit. Anyone care to start a list (in another thread, since hijacking a thread should definitely be on the list).

I know I researched my ass off for 5 months, built my grow room and was sitting on the ready to pop seeds before I even posted my first post.
I can see where a lot of the folks who have been on here for a long time, get plum wore out on answering questions that were without a doubt answered just a few threads back from where they posted the question in the first place. That is a sure sign that someone has not researched at all.
You will find this in just about any hobby you wish to get into. Those that wish to take the easy road, seldom stay on it for long.
There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke. Me personally, I take my grow very seriously, cause I want to see just how stoned I can get myself with the rewards from my labor.

This isnt my first site i have used from my experience there is always gonna be assholes and know it all's. Like everyone is saying you have to look past those do research and figure what works for you the best not everyone will be able to grow the same everyone's environment is different. Also there is always gonna be that dumbass that cant take 10 mins to search the threads for something they would just rather post a new one which would take just as long. So far i like this site better them most alot of active people on and a high number of members.
