Hello RIU,
I know, most of you are like "another 12/12 thread" go check del's and I have, not all of it, but went through a good chunk of pages. So I have gathered a bit of intel, and I had some questions that I need a second opinion on... I plan to do a 12/12 sometime after my auto finishes up. Really interesting to me, since space/electrical bill is what's really holding me back here. I have a 1.5x2 box with only 36" of vert height, thats excluding the space taken by lights filters etc.
First off, is it worth it in the first place? How long till harvest? To me, it looks like just as much time as a reg photo 18/6 then 12/12, but you get to plant like 4x more plants cause you'll have one main cola and very little side branching? I've read that even with the 12/12 from seed, they are still technically in the veg state for the first few weeks, and would I even have to bother wit veg nutes? I havent seen much on lst/topping for 12/12'ers. Is it b/c theres not much time to recover before going straight into flowering? Lastly... I know this has been asked a bunch, but any strains that are more suited for 12/12? I've seen anything with cheese thrown around a lot.
One off topic question since it never got answered... My grinder atm is a total mess, and I wanted to clean it, but make qwiso with it. The only problem is I have nowhere to dry it for the next couple days b/c I heard it smells a lot like alcohol. I have personally never smelled iso, not sure if it's that much diff than normal rubbing alcohol. So I thought of letting it dry in my grow box, and the CF should take care of the smell. Is there anything I should be worried about for my plants inside?
