Disposing of Unwanted Leaf and Stalk

How do you guys get rid of the leaves and stalks after you harvest. I normally burn mine in the fireplace so I don't get noticed throwing the stuff out. This time though I had a great grow and ended up with a full trash bag to burn. Seeing how its June and 90 degrees out building a fire in the fireplace isn't what most people in the neighborhood are doing! lol I waited until dark but it took me forever to get rid of it all. Looking for other stealth ways to dispose of it so thanks in advance for any ideas.

Burning seems like the best idea i could think of. Second would be double/triple bagging the waste, then waiting till 2 hours before garbage pick up and go put it outside of another house a block or two away.

dry the leave and crush them ,then flush them or use it for compost after drying, they still stay green even dry. stalk- take a razor blade and cut 2 lines one down each side and peel off. you sir have just come up with hemp.

I find that for me it is best to just put all fresh waste material into the compost pile while turning it . But in the winter or when I have very little time on my hands I often just take the fresh material and seal it in a plastic shopping bag or garbage bag . Once filled , I seal it and put it in a warm area such as the shed or garage , after a short time it begins to ferment rot and mold all at once and heat accelerates this decomposition . I usually wait a good week before disposal and sometimes two weeks , by then I know if anyone was to find and open this in my trash that they would be in for one hell of a rude surprise !

Thanks for the ideas. I think I'll stock pile it during the summer in my garage and then when we build a bonfire out back I'll throw it on there after everybody is gone and it's dark out. I don't want to chance one of the neighbors finding it in the trash. I'm a foreigner living in a foreign land so I already have the stink eye on me. lol

i just tried putting all leaf material in the oven (i did some loli-poppin) and let it dry out at 200f for 2-4 hours. then i mashed it all up and flushed it. Can't say it wasn't messy but it got the job done. i would of rather put it all in a garbage bag. mashed it up and then dumped it somewhere outside. (no one would know, i mean my leaf material smelled like bacon due to my oven)

People have been busted burning their trim. Be careful as it smells like weed when its burning. This may not be ethical but i just double bag the stuff and dump it in an apt complexes dumpster or the dumpster of a warehouse in industrial areas. When i was growing large scale and would have 99 three foot tall plants to dispose of i would just double bag it and take it to the dump. Just make sure you dont put anything in the trash that has your name or address on it. I used the dump for 2 years straight and never had any issues.

I let my leaves dry out, crush them up, then put them in a compost pile. I cut the stems up into my household trash or just throw em in a compost pile all cut up. I only grow one plant at a time, in 2 liter bottles, so I don't have much leaf or stem to dispose of, not very noticeable.

My dog loves fan leaves, she drools every time that tent gets opened. Its funny. Dont feed em too much or she gets constipated. Other then that I stuff the stalk and dead foliage into a backpack and bike ride to the nearest forest preserve. Dump and be free.

I live in a neighborhood with close neighbors. I burn mine in a little bon fire. I always mix them in with plenty of leaves from the trees outside. Just smells like a camp fire.
