Help! Second plant to do this! Is it mag zinc or iron def?? Or is it the light too close?
First time posting but been reading from here for years!!
Have been researching this for ages! First plant was my mrsz an auto that was budding under cfls then we got the 240w led panel so we jammed it over the little cheese auto and after a few days of cranking it started to do this and i tryed a few thing to fix it but ended up cutting it a few weeks into it still got some thc'ed up buds from it.
So both times it happens a few days after putting under the leds after the flowering stage has already started.
I really didnt think growing under leds would be any different.
This plant is a Fanta Seeds Homegrown Purple.
Im going to buy some epsoms salts in a miniute but thought id ask you guys for your input.
Also how much and what way should i apply the epsome salts if i should at all?

More info needed.
Looks like bleaching AND a mag deficiency.
What brand of light are you using?
How close has it been?
How often do you need to water?
What's your medium?
How much calcium is in your water?
What PH do you use?
What brand of nutes and how often do you feed.
How often do you flush?

Back that light off a bit, 5ml. epsom salts per gallon works for me, but you might need some calcium as well so a calmag supplement may be a better option. I use GH Calimagic-5ml. per gallon.
Some folks foliar feed with epsom salts for quicker results. Google that.

Just a cheap one from aliexpress (http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/234095364.html) that rekend had blackstar ratio with the leds.
Its been 12in for the closest one but rest are pretty much 15in is that to close?
I water 2wice a weekish
its in some cheap tomato dirt mix
not shore about how much calcium is in the water, how would i go about that?
Just looked at the store for a ph meter and couldn't find one for liquid iv got one for soil and that usually reads between 6 and 7
I use budzilla with a N.P.K of 30.30.70 and usually feed every second water when i remember
do you mean fully flush the soil? iv never done that i just usually water with regular tap water every second water
Cant find any calcium nutes only garden lime but that wouldnt relly work would it?
So should i try a floral spray and see if it helps? i cant do anymore damage can i?

The more I look, the more it looks like bleaching. 15" shouldn't have been to close unless there are other problems. Back that lamp away and see if they get better or worse.

In my opinion, some of the cheaper lights can cause deficiencies that you can never get a handle on.

They also look a little windburned as if a strong fan was directed at them.
What are your temps and humidity? Do you have a fan or circulating air?

google or search this site; "treating magnesium deficiency in cannabis".

ur light is way too close, raising the light is the first thing u should do before trying to fix a perhaps maybe non-existent deficiency.... Try with the light at twice the distance and see how it goes. This will probably stay like this so watch for the new growth. If you use 3watters LEDs be shy and keep this light 18+'' from canopy.

thats not bleaching. look aat the other top leaves . they are still green.

thats iron or sulfur def. foliar spray with kelp meal foliar and neem meal foliar that should fix it. do those seperate

^^^ This is what i was thinking all the fan leafs and others are way closer and dont have bleaching going on.
Iv only got one computer fan at the bottom blowing in so i dont think its wind burn as iv had way more powerfull fans cranking on plants before and nothing ever like this untill leds which are 3w ones but now i dont no wot the fuck to do lol im gonna have to smash out more draws up the top to raise the light but dont want to if i dont have to as the draws have my stuff in it and are still good lol unlike the bottoms ones which you can see i turned into the cupboard.
Temps hang around 21c to 25c and humidity hangs around 40 to 55 depending on weather or if i have the dryer cranking.
Iv got some sequestron which says is a cure for "yellowing leafs and poor growth by addressing iron deficiency and lack of trace elements" so i might mix it up and give it a water and flora spray with this tomorrow and see what happens.

Thanks everyone for helping me out iv been trying to sus this out for a long time and thought it was time to ask for help.

Ohh my bad you said they also look wind burn how is that what am i looking for if i was looking for that? i'll have to lower the voltage on the fan to slow it down

Snott boogie no. Nitrogen def starts at the bottom. Iron def starts at the top at the base of the leaf. Sulfur def starts at top at the base and spines of the leaf.

Yea nothing is going on down the bottoms yet so much be iron or sulfur.

Yip. Raise your led...seemz the new tender growth is being affected where as your 'weathered' older growth can handle a little bit more. :)

Are those burns from CFLs or LEDs on those plants? By the looks of your other pix your PH is probably off, cheap soil and the looks of your tips are telling me that. And that might be where your lockout is coming from. Looks like some heat stress too. Still not sooo bad. What are the temps? Maybe it is a bit of stress, though whether photo or all that training is causing it, IDK. Bottom line it's light on the new growth. So nitrogen is needed, right?

Foliar feed like Hy said (NEEM, really?) but not too much IMO and back the panels up like Santa said. They look like they could use a little stretch :).

Just feed it with that iron stuff sprayed it everywhere and tipped the rest on the soil.

The burns are from the cfls when i got lazy and didnt check it for a few days. i dont think it gets to hot in there as its in the garage and its freezing over here at the moment but im probly wrong haha

Havnt raised lights yet didnt have time today going to do that tomorrow.
