ive never had a problem with seedlings before...this is the first problems i have encountered,im not ph'ing but that shouldnt really matter as my tap waters 7.1? i soaked them in a glass of water till i seend the tap root, then placed into root it,left them a week and then put the root it cubes into some cutting compost mixed with perlite,i dont normal use perlite with seedlings i like swampy like compost normally but i thought i would try it this time..could that be the problem?temp 31c humidity 55% i know im running a little too hot but my last survived alot hotter, the 1 to the far right is absolutly perfect yet the 1 next to it is the same strain and it seems to be having issues as its leafes are browning/yellowing! wich is confusing me..same strain same everything but the others having issues :S,i have 2 strains out of the 4 here

did you by chance take the helmet off manually?

helmet meaning the seed on top as it came up , if it did come up with the seed still on it.

cuz ive had a plant come up with the seed still on in and i manually removed it thinking it was ready to come off
ending up killing the plant i guess it still needed the helmet for a while lol wasnt ready to go without.

no but i had 2 dudd seeds of critical plus and the 1 seed left of critical did that helmet thing so i left it 2 days thinking it will do it on its own accord went to look next day the poor thing fell in half lol so that was £30 down the sink all these removed the shell on there own

Compost is too hot for seedlings, try plain potting mix or something with no nutrients like coir or Rockwool cubes.
