azdhs now says I'm within 25miles?

The closest dispensary I can find on the list is in coolidge
When I mapquest it, it says it's 27miles away
How can I dispute being classified as being within 25 miles
of a dispensary?

hahaha me too. it just seems like since its a 25 mile radius you probably fall within it even if you have 2 extra miles of driving to do, thats just in twists and turns within the 25 mile limit right?

Unfortunately AZDHS interprets the 25 mile rule "as the crow flies" the whole 25 mile rule is ridiculous.

Like they said, the 25 mile radius is a circle from the dispensary 25 miles in each direction. Roads don't matter. You could be 100 ROAD miles away on the other side of a mountain. However if its only 5 mile wide mountain; your fucked.

I live in Maricopa and the closest dispensary is in Tempe on Elliot and the I-10 - that is 32 miles away "as the crow flies" - AZDHS says that i am within 25 miles. I have asked for an explanation, but can't get one from AZDHS? Any help would be appreciated.

they use the diameter on a map from the dispensary not the actual turn by turn directions. so you may be a little screwed if you fall in this area.

Have you looked at this site and checked it? https://medicalmarijuana.azdhs.gov/GeocodeAddress.aspx (At the bottom is an address checker)

There is one on 701 W. Elliot RD.

Maricopa is sandwiched between the Eloy dispensary on houser and the phoenix dispensary on 41st street some areas of it are good but some are not in play. Check with this map type in the dispensary address set the distance at 25 miles and you will see. http://www.freemaptools.com/radius-around-point.htm

Fuck I thought I was one step ahead I had a gold canyon patient ready to sign tomorrow. The list i have and
the list above show them still good and they checked out ok 3 days ago as being more than 25 miles away but not as of tonight . Does any one know if they opened a mesa or tempe dispensary in the last few days? Does any one have a CURRENT dispensary list?

Hey guys! Coolman that is the tool i have been using - Eloy is not in play at all and the Tempe Dispensary on Elliot and I-10 is still a few miles out from the Maricopa city limits - does not cover any of Maricopa City?

UPDATE Mesa dispensary opened on the 2nd according to Health department it is 22.5 miles west of Gold canyon. The Coolidge dispensary may come into play as well jjlongo.
