Need advice for CFL type

Hello, Trying to get some cfl going in my closet. need help on choosing the right one.
Not sure what are the best brands to choose.







btw this is my setup, im using soft white color @ 1750 lumens 2700k, got 4 of them working. so thinking of changing it to 6500k at like 1610 lumens.

My personal opinion, T5's would be your best bet, I have no faith in cfl's.....don't shoot me.

the thing is im on a budget right now, need to hold off the spending for about 5 weeks. also they just sprouted yesterday. should i buy the 6500k bulbs?

if you're planning on using a large percentage of that space, your wattage will have to grow, a lot
if you want to shrink the grow area, you can bring in a small plant of perhaps a 1 oz size
but that will take some skill to do

im not going to keep all these plants. i probably will grow maybe like 4-6 plants. this is just a part time setup for about 5 weeks. im going to go with the gorilla tent and the sodium bulb. but as off right now im not sure if i should change these lights. right now they are 2700k @ 1750 lumens soft white.

so this sounds like a veg chamber
in which case you do want to change to the higher kelvin bulbs, they veg much better than the soft whites

the higher kelvin bulbs have lower lumens, just how it is
but they blow the doors off the 2700k, GE should be a good choice
but this is 100 watts or so of cfl's, they need to be close to the plants, say 2 inches away or so for maximum effect
and the veg size is going to be limited, a 100 watts will only take you so far

can't give you experience on the HPS, but they are the standard way of growing high quality weed
they work well

I se 600+actual cfl watts in a 3by3space...mixed spectrum. ..50/50.....I guess round 25bulbs ranging from 23 watters mostly but quite a few 42watters and 55watters...1 65watter......I completely cover the plant w lights....I have 6bulbs on a seed ling right nowView attachment 272547520130705_000103.jpg20130705_000114.jpg.....I like em short n stocky n to get that w cfls ya gotta hit em w the lights...I topped this one this morning...one week old kush strain
