24 hr light on clones

Hoping someone has some advice on what to do with the light cycle on the 30 clones I have. they have been under 24 hrs of light since they were cloned and all are around 10 days out of dome. I was hoping by waiting til this late in the year that I could go straight outside with them and not have them go into flower then revert to veg then back to flower. Does anyone know if that will work or should i change the light cycle to 18/6 for a week before going outside, or any other transition ideas would be appreciated.

the light they receive from the sun will be a lot more powerful than any light you have them under now the main thing to worry about would be hardening them off before they go into direct sunlight.

here is what i would do: put them into 18-6 for a week then outside in a shady spot for a week to 10 days then figure out where they are going to finish their life.

you will have a lot of opinions on your question. they are all correct. you can do 24 18 or 20 no difference. the plants don't care. I would leave them the same as your doing now until you go out side, less stress,

I do this all the time, you waited too long. I use outdoors for vegging until about August 1st, which is when plants begin to notice the gradual reduction of daylight in the northern hemisphere.

So you have maybe a month left to toss those outdoors, then they will begin flowering after 1st or second week of August.

Plus as mentioned, they must be hardened off.

I would keep those indoors vegging for a month, then finish them outside.

This is excellent advice.
