How do these plants look so far?

Hi, so a while ago back in march I planted some seeds that I bought from a seed company. That was four months ago but the growth was really slow in the beginning because I didnt heat the soil or anything. Once it was warm enough I planted them outside in the woods by a pond. I know that's not the best environment for them but I have no other place to plant them. Now that the leaves have grown in on the trees there isn't much light around my plants. Also the soil is really compact and filled with roots and I didn't loosen it up much when I planted the seedlings. So now the plants have grown much bigger than they were but are still really small considering their age.
So I'm pretty sure the day light is now decreasing each day which I guess sends them into flowering. But will my plants be put into flowering or will they grow larger first?
Also I'm considering digging the plants up and moving them to a different spot with less trees and more light. I would loosen up the soil this time and add in compost.
Do you think it would be worth it to move them or would that be too stressful?
Here are pictures, can you tell me how they look so far and if you think there's any chance of them producing?
Thanks!

I would let them go and see what happens. Possibly cut some tree branches to allow more light. Careful feeding with (strong) compost. Possibly brew a compost tea. Check youtube for vids.

Ok thanks and do you think they are going to grow any bigger or are they just going to go into flowering?
they dont show much veg growth.. shows a lot of stretching to get the light.. trim off any lower sucker branches to force the energy back up.

IMO.. if you can move em.. do so..

This. Give them as much sun as possible, put them in some nice airy soil with good drainage, give them some food, and they'll start growing really fast in about a week.

Ok I think ill try to move at least a few. I mixed a bucket off half compost with half soil and I'm planning on adding this to the new holes I plant them in. Is this mixture ok or is that too much compost?
And also when I replant them should I try to bury them up to the first set of leaves so there's less stem?
and one last question, its still to early to tell the makes from females, right?

Looks like you're in a shaded area, nothing beats tons of sunlight in veg. stage I'd try to prune them to make em bushier. My main plant grew 5 feet plus in 90 days. In the northeast thing should be flowering by mid August. Happy Gardening.
