Hello!

I have a 10' x 10' tent, along with an 8" Max-Fan (675 cfm) running to cool the lights (sucking hot air out of the tent) and then just the intake vents in the bottom (no intake fan) my temps are staying at about 85-88°F.

Is that too high? I'm thinking because I have such high cfm that those temps will be fine...

It is too high for flowering in general IMHO. You can get up to 85F with little concern but I wouldn't want to stay there for long periods of time. It is too high for flowering in general and you should be at low to mid 70's with 45-50% RH in flower room IMHO. Higher temp and RH in veg is ok. They appear to love it.

I guess an exception would be if you were running Co2 you could get away with those temps.

This coming from a guy who is still on his first grow... well funded and informed but still a newb on his first grow. Here's my newb post.

Cannabis thrives in the same climate as humans. Idk about you but anything about 78°F an I'm sweating.

all set up for my first grow. about 5 days away from transplanting germinated seeds into hydro buckets.
a test run in my "garage room" with a temp gauge in the pot closest to the light is at 95 degrees about 4 feet away from the light.

I have a 4 ft x 8 ft x 6 ft tall totally sealed room with 6 pots in it.
I have a small fan at the far side of the room, pushing air toward the light, which has a fan/filter pulling through it.
I am not vented with air coming in from the outside of this "room", but I am vented going out of the room at the light.
Setup is hydro, so my water will be the correct temp, ph, and ppm's
I will also be using a block of CO2 in there.

It's every bit of 94 degrees today.
Suppose I am unable to stabilize my temperature any lower than 85 to 90 degrees maximum during the day, and 75 to 85 at night.
At least until September, when the temp starts to drop.. which is about 6-8 weeks away now.
Any sort of AC in this room area is out of the question at this point.

What sort of problems can I expect and how can I combat them?

Not at all....Every strain is diff. and will react diff. but ive went entire grows from start to finish with temps being 80-86 throughout the entire grow...With no problems. Remember many places like so. cal. where the temps are over 80 degress all summer long, weed thrives there...

In comparison, I run 4x4x7 at temps up to and sometimes a little past 90F (matching external temps), with two circulation fans and a 200CFM 6" exhaust.. Growth slowed a bit at peak temps, but overall fine. This is because of two things: the medium always moist, and CO2 is being rapidly replaced and circulated about the canopy. I have 112 cubic feet, and so an exhaust rate of 1.78 clears per minute. You have 1000 cubic feet, with an exhaust rate of 0.7 clears per minute.
Need more airflow/circulation, or you can run CO2, or seal up and use AC (the last resort of many).

it's almost half that because the roof is 6 foot at the light end, but only 2 foot on the other end.
The CO2 block I have is about the size of a street paving brick, comes in a bag. I have no idea how much it releases.
Beneficial to use 2 of them?

I will run the fan I have on hi and we'll see how it goes.
I was hoping that having the fan pulling across the light would keep the bulb cooler than it does.

It's looking to be a steady 5 degrees hotter than ambient temps.
It's 95 degrees in there now and about 90 out

I did see some seeds on mjseeds.nl that were supposed to be better for hotter climates...
