While dribbling the ball and looking for a distraction.when did obama agree with the premise of the iraq war?

you cannot disagree with the war before the invasion, then go onto state "There's not that much difference between my position and George Bush's position at this stage. The difference, in my mind, is who's in a position to execute." implying he could manage it better, which he hasn't...when did obama agree with the premise of the iraq war?
there's no contradiction between being against the war to start with and believing you can manage it better once it has started (hence, "at this stage").you cannot disagree with the war before the invasion, then go onto state "There's not that much difference between my position and George Bush's position at this stage. The difference, in my mind, is who's in a position to execute."
You are now providing me with amusement by asserting Obama never supported the war but had to deal with it...let's put this a way that an aussie can understand.
if echelon1k1 is like most people, he is probably opposed to contracting genital warts.
but if echelon1k1 hops into bed with some dude for some mutual anal pounding and that dude he is banging lies to him about having genital warts, he will likely contract genital warts, like it or not.
at that stage, echelon1k1 will then have to deal with the scourge of genital warts. does this mean that echelon1k1 supports genital warts? no, it doesn't.
Obamas address to US troops at Fort Bragg regarding IraqBecause of you – because you sacrificed so much for a people that you had never met, Iraqis have a chance to forge their own destiny, That’s part of what makes us special as Americans. Unlike the old empires, we don’t make these sacrifices for territory or for resources. We do it because it’s right. There can be no fuller expression of America’s support for self-determination than our leaving Iraq to its people. That says something about who we are
obama was protesting against the war up to the day of the invasion. he never supported it.You are now providing me with amusement by asserting Obama never supported the war but had to deal with it...
There's a contradiction right there! President Obama has shown American lives are the least of his concerns, time and time again - Hillary is no different...obama was protesting against the war up to the day of the invasion. he never supported it.
eventually, after being elected president, he had to deal with it. the president has no other choice with american lives on the line.
there is no contradiction between the two.
Thank god I've never contracted genital bucks*... But I do have to deal with unwanted genital bucks* on this board...when an aussie contracts unwanted genital warts*, that aussie has no choice but to deal with those unwanted genital warts. one would hope, at least. can never be too sure with some of the things that get said here in politics.
I thought Obama was against the war in Iran saying Afghanistan was where we were supposed to be? I do remember him not wanting to send as many troops as the generals were asking for. But I clearly remember us needing to stabilize Afghanistan (because OBL was in Paki I guess?) during the campaign. He was protesting A war, not war itself. He just wanted it to be where he thought it would do the most good. Pretty sure you backed him up and made excuses after finding out OBL had been hiding in plain site for years in a place that was NOT Afghanistan.obama was protesting against the war up to the day of the invasion. he never supported it.

Terrifying thought, isn't it? That's one reason I loved Ron Paul: his foreign policy and Austrian model economic ideals.Christy would be worse than Bush, elected as a conservative and governing like a Keynesian King.
I voted for Hilary in the 2008 primaries. I think she would do a much better job than Obama. I didn't vote for him because I felt he was too inexperienced. I respected him in the beginning because he tried to run his position like it was meant to be ran: bi-partisan and in an executive and ceremonial capacity only. He had his priorities he wanted to push through, but he got rail roaded by the shameless bastards that are in congress. He didn't want to play the game, but he wound up getting clobbered in center field; not realizing it till it was too late.
I've voted Libertarian for the last three elections and don't anticipate voting any other way. I would have if Hilary had gotten the nomination.

I am pretty damn sure that Rand Paul will run in the next election. He is NOTHING NOTHING!!!! like his father and I hope people don't make the mistake of thinking he is. We saw what happened with Bush Sr. and Bush Jr.; they couldn't have been any more different.
