i pick up my state ID card this week. they have seen a drop in state registration lately. it is voluntary but highly encouraged. it brings the state money. the more the merrier.

I wish i could, my fucking county voted down the ID card program.

I feel jealousy, anger,disillusion, bewilderment, shock, sadness frustration.
If this is all for money then why don't they just give everyone a card and sell it to anyone?

It is almost seeming like a scam in itself.

I understand that different states and different countries have different laws.
I've contacted the government, medical marihuana canada, all the doctors, been to all kinds of apppointments, talked on the phone to lots of people, did a lot of emailing, and finally came to the conclusion that I had to apply to a compassion club.

I have only had this experience with this one compassion club as I did not even know that there were four others in the same area.

I've approached it in a professional manner by getting all the needed documentaion and then have waited and waited. Then I have people tell me they have applied to the same place in the last month and have their card already. Other members have told me that they don't have a card and go into compassion centres to purchase medical marijuana.

To me it is all starting to sound like a big joke which I am not sure how to feel about.

It's not necessarily a joke but it's there for your advantage so to speak....What I think is a joke is how people say they are sick and dying and without marijuana they cant survive.....There is no doubt in my mind that people benefit from marijuana, I am one of them....Medical marijuana in my opinion is nothing more then legally allowing you to smoke marijuana...I believe it is one of those things where money is involved, people are going to do it regardless, and the states became smart and jumped in to regulate it and to make there share of the profit.......It is what it is, it's there for you to take advantage of.

I thought the whole med mary thing was something different also until the day I recieved my card...I went in and there was about 30 other patients there ranging from 18-60....Im a good judge of character and I can honestly tell you these people weren't dying...they were nothing more than your average stoners like me and you...they took advantage of what our state has to offer.

As far as Canada Lacy, they are not affiliated with the US so I cant speak for them...But as far as the states go, Im sure it is like it is here, in the other states....Like I said its not a joke, but I guess in a way you can kinda look at it like that if that makes sense....Either way, I got mine and Im good, time to go smoke my brains out

.See I have to admit that I am naive and ignorant in this subject. I do not know what to expect from getting this card at all or even if I will get one. I completely am in total confusion and frustration about the entire issue.

It hurts when people think I am being selfish because I really don't think I am. I have a huge amount of compassion for my fellow man even though I 'may' come across differently.

I don't want to start comparing myself to others be-grudging the fact that some of these people have nothing wrong with them. I'm not going to deny that I feel disappointed in the system. Its sad to think that every god damned thing in the entire world is governed by the mighty dollar. It actually sickens me to think about it.

Here I have been in awe with the cultivators of some of these strains and now it seems like they were just made and by fluke some of them have certain properties that are beneficial to certain disorders.
I was so stoked with the illusion that they were people in the industry who had some moral intergrity as well as passion for their work.

I dunno...the whole strain thing is a wierd subject, at least for me because mostly all marijuana does the same thing for me no matter what kind it is....I either am up and motivated, sleepy or couchlocked and hungry....As far as strains for different diagnosis......I dont know about all of that but it may very well be true.....I mean what would make it different then every other strain...Is the THC different? I think it more the less goes by couchlocked high or an uppy high....I really call bullshit when they say this strain is good for PMS or this strain is good for people with aids....besides that marijuana affects everyone differently so I think they went a lil overboard on the whole strain thing but I can be wrong

i'll have a half doobie laying around. i will be smoking one strain. i will grab the doobie and hit it a few times. it is a different strain. i don't realize this while i'm smoking it. 20 mins later things have suddenly changed. weird because i've been smoking ll day. wait a minute,...... i hit that doobie. what was that? oh yeah, the ATF. damn got me again.

I can tell the difference because of taste....Not because every weed I have makes me feel different....That would be like saying the chemical makeup of THC isn't stable and is different in every strain wouldn't it?

THC is Thc! Its a psychoactive drug therefore anybody can believe it does whatever it does for them cuz it differs but the reality is it is just THC...
