Possible Civil Rights Case Against Zimmerman

Well, it seems the sore losers Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, etc., are trying for "legal" double jeopardy against the legally exonerated George Zimmerman. They've got masses of blacks enraged and signing petitions to charge him with federal civil rights violations. They will not stop until the whole country is perpetually stirred up like a hornets nest; blacks against whites. They've set race relations back a few years so far, and they may put us back in 1960s Selma, Alabama before it's all said and done. Shame on them.

But I thought Trayvon's parents and lawyer said they didn't want this case to be about race?

After watching the Florida prosecutors get their asses handed to them in the state trial, I am going to go out on a limb and predict that DOJ will not pursue this.

Can you imagine the flood of donations that will flood in for Zimmerman if the feds pursue him?

I agree, and hope you're right.

We have a radical black racist heading the DOJ, and the president isn't much better.
eric holder and obama are not racists, and even though you think they came from an "inferior lot", they are still more intelligent than you, more successful than you, and all around better human beings.

now go do some more smack and steal shit from your parents, cretin.

Buck, Obama is a different animal, he is half white, after all. Also, the smartest black man can be just as smart or smarter than anyone else. They also tower above you in all things, as well.

Says he who thinks 6 plants is a marginally attached worker and quotes jargon from language and behavior research he doesn't comprehend.

my greenhouses don't make me a marginally attached worker, the fact that i am able to take work on my own terms does.

so sorry that you have an incompetent therapist who is not even up to date with what is in the new DSM-V.

Taking money under the table for selling euphemisms makes you a tax dodger not a marginally attached worker. Also, the new DSM is 5.0, not V. They ditched that out dated methodology. Meaning, the new one isn't final. The WHO still lists my people in their manual and also list the US medical system below many third world countries that use the WHO Manual.

I'm looking forward to the Civil Suit. They won't be able to suppress the evidence that shows Martin was a gang-banging, Lean cooking, felonious thug. That kid died committing felony assault I couldn't be more over-joyed.
I don't think that will happen. As Dude has alluded, Zim never had the Stand Your Ground hearing. Now that is just news-joke speak for an Immunity from Prosecution Hearing. It is based on the presupposition of Self Defense. If the People can provide some evidence that it was not self defense, then there is a Ruling and it goes to trial. Better to just go without the ruling in this case.

So, the question is why did he waive that and went to trial?

1) could easily lose in the present climate of TRY HIM! TRY HIM! at the Federal level. Get the Ruling Against before? No.

2) still have the Hearing (un-ruled on,) as a total defense, to the Civil Suit. Total piece of cake now that the criminal aspect is settled.

And in FL the Martin family would have to pay court costs when they lose it.

Now. Enter Trevon's adopted Dad, Barry. King of the Executive Branch with vast powers.

A Civil Rights case is more possible than the Civil Suit, I think. We get to hear the lame duck quack one last time.

The feds already did an extensive investigation of Zimmerman. The FBI was looking for "hate crime" evidence and found none.

After watching the kangaroo court the state put on I won't totally dismiss the feds trying to take it to round two, but it sure looks like a stupid move on DOJ's part.

Not to mention the fact that it will drag out this ridiculous racial divide over this case. Do the Dems really want to be associated with that? It strikes me as bad politics, and that is all this case has ever been about.

Have you been getting what I'm saying?

What if they want racial divide?

It is damn good politics and has been for decades if not centuries.

You might be right. To me it looks like bad politics for the dems though. To continue this racial dog and pony show is bound to alienate rational democrats, there must be a few of them.

I will have to say that the loony left is beside itself over this "failure of justice", though.
