400w Critical Jack waterfarm scrog

Hello folks. Im back for my second grow. My first grow with Northern Lights didnt end great so decided to start another. The smoke so far from has been getting me by and is pretty decent for a very early harvest.

Anyways this grow is exactly the same as the last. 400w in a DR90 tent and Lucas formula. I have only added one extra component in this grow and that is Canna's Cannazym. Root rot killed my last plant so starting off prepared this time. Plus temps here have been creeping up and the temp inside the grow tent is about 28c. Going to get another fan in there soon.

So here are the pics of her so far. She is 16 days from seed now.

She is sitting at day 24 and coming along very nicely. PPM's are around 550 and ph is at 5.8. She is a lot bigger than my NL at the same timeline. So far so good

Update time! She is at day 31 now and she is growing big and fast! Plan to veg her for one more week and then switch to flower. PPM's are about 600 and ph is 5.8. All in all going great so far

Shes at day 4 of 12/12 switch and i couldnt be happier! This baby is coming along so so great! shes growing at an incredible rate and honestly id say ive only taken away about 6/7 fan leaves that didnt look great since this grow started. That Cannazym stuff is fucking amazing! temps here have been a little hot but as of yet there is no sign of root rot or any other sickness. Definitely would recommend it!

Bumped up PPM to about 750 and ph is still steady.

She is day 10 of flower today and we have confirmation its a girl! Bumped up ppm's to about 850 and shes loving it. Reckon I will weave her for another few days and then let her go. Screen is pretty much filled up and plenty of tops forming.

Afternoon folks! Heres the update for this week. She is at day 17 of 12/12 and coming along fairly well. Should have weaved her a bit more as this girl has stretched big time! i think its about 25cm from the waterfarm to the scrog screen and above the screen its another 30cm and she is stretching more every day. Hopefully will have enough room for another 25/30cm max. Did some trimming below the canopy but not as much as my Northern lights. Hoping to get some small fluffy buds down below which i can turn into water hash

So i have encountered a problem :/ As with my last grow, around the same time into 12/12, the top chamber seems to be pooling up. Its got me worried as thats where i think the previous root rot problem originated. Now when i cut my northern lights down and had a look at the top chamber is was full of roots. SO im wondering if its this root mass thats causing the water to pool up. I cant exactly lift the top and make bigger holes in case i cut off some roots. The drip ring running 24/7 isnt helping much either so i really have limited options. Would love it if any of you guys could give some suggestions!

looks fine jasper lad, i wouldn't worry too much about cutting a few roots, it's not going to slow it up too much at all. i've been brutal to weed and it just bounces back. other than that you could run a timer for the drip ring? see if it slows the pooling?

Howdy Partner! LOOKING SUPER HEALTY! excellent nutrient control! you got that down. So I hear your having some issues. I have a few suggestions that might help.
First I would remove that tinfoil , you don't need it anymore and its just getting in the way of checking how your farm is functioning, mainly your drip ring. Is your drip ring clogged? do you see it spitting large amounts of water out of EVERY hole? if not you need it to. What kinda air pump you using? if its the one that came with the kit, you got a problem right there...easy fix though.. My suggesting is to invest in top quality.. The one I use is totally awesome. Its a general Hydroponics dual diaphragm air pump.. It has 4 lines with adjustable air flow, so you can tweet the power and right about now it should be full blast. Or you can get a couple better quality ones at PETsmart or PETco..
The other suggesting I left for you in my journal. Ill be back with those links I promised.
The roots in the upper chamber is normal.. stay cool partner. I hope my suggestions help and get things flowin better for you. Nice work!!

heres the pump Jasper,,,, this is an excellent price. I would jump all over this deal. In the future you will be able, if you so desire, to run 2 farms off this unit .. 2 lines for each farm. Each farm would get the drip line and the bottom bubbler line. cheez ambz

Not really a case of cutting a few roots Don. Like there are a only a few coming through the top chamber which then expand in the bottom res. So if i were to cut one off problem is id end up losing a shitload more! for now im not going to go near the roots. I timed the drip in my last grow and didnt help much. Thanks for the kind words Doc! your a gent. Coming back to this problem for a sec. Do you think its wise to remove the tin foil? there are a load of roots that are on top of the hydroton and if in future the pooling problem persists the water would stagnate quicker and its bad for the roots to get light. Tis the only reason why i havent taken off the tin foil. Regarding the air pump. Unfortunately it is the standard one that came with the farm. I knew it would come back to haunt me. Going to have to get a budget one (looking at ebay as we speak) and stick an airstone down the tube as you stated. Dont think theres enough room for it though as the tube is quite narrow and the drip ring tube just fits snugly. Will know once i have the new air pump.

As for referring Don i was typing Donginton as one word. didnt even realise he had already posted on my thread and his name is three separate words thats what being high gets you too

Ahh ya but really difficult trying to lift it up and drill more holes. the screen is attached to the tent and i havent told anyone about this so cant have anybody come over and help! going to get another airpump and some airstones in the farm and hopefully we shall see some improvements.

Damn thats really eery being watched. Cant put myself in your shoes. Im pretty sure all is grand here but my paranoia has hit the roof! A couple people mentioned it about the tin foil. doesnt really hurt to have it there and if it helps well thats a bonus I have a bottle of liquid oxygen but havent introduced any of it. Heard that you cant mix that along with Cannazym so its still sealed at the moment. I reckon i will only have a few more feedings of Cannazym (about 200ml left) and when thats finished i can introduce the liquid oxygen

yeah, it'd probably kill the goodies in the zyme jasper. as for the critical jack, i chopped it already, it could have gone longer but i had some drama last week and nearly had to rip the whole lot out.

watched by one of the mods, they keep removing rude avatars. no biggie, they don't seem to report it higher up lol. not worth the bother for a couple of boobs. i think it's sunni as the only time we cross paths it's gone next day lol
