He had marijuana in his system and pictures of a pot plant on his cell phone

The defense did a good job, and the prosecution did as best they could with the evidence they had...

In the end, it seemed the defense had an easy time creating reasonable doubt...

According to an article I read today on Yahoo, which cited 3 former DOJ employees who specialized in civil rights violation cases, the DOJ would have an even harder time trying to convict Zimm...

They would have to prove he went after Trayvon BECAUSE he was black...and the fact that he was in a gated community (instead of a place with free public access) would throw a wrench into the federal prosecution machine, because of the way the civil rights violation laws were written back in the 1960s...

This whole following argument is ridiculous. It's a desperate attempt to prove that Zimmerman was the aggressor in the fight without providing any evidence what so ever. It barely meets the standards for preponderance of evidence (if that) and is a clear example of big mouths trying to convict in the court of public opinion. This is a criminal case, not civil. There is such a thing as reasonable doubt.
