Growing outside do u ph your outdoor water to 6.0-6.5 ??

I don't. My main water source besides rainfall is a small pond not far from my grow site. Never tested it. Figured it wasn't really relevant since I don't have any alternative water supply.

My tap 7.9, and with what I do, works fine.
U HAVE seen a couple threads where the well water was in the low 6's, and caused problems though.

Ok so Im gonna take the well water with the ppm of 925.... I have fox farm big bloom and pretty soon I'm gonna mix it with the well water to get my ppm in the 1100-1200 for the first week of flowering. Anyone know how much that how be if I mixed with 2 gallons of well water ?? Or just trial and error ??

If you have a ppm pen, add 1 teaspoon to your 2 gallon and test, you will see how much one teaspoon moves your ppms. If no pen just use at half recommended strength.

ok thank.. Gonna start using it soon (Outdoor flowering begins in what 10 days ??) on my great white shark and its 2 clones. Also have a big bud (regular), and I think its fem. Looking for 3+ oz's outside with only 4 hours of direct sunlight on my plants.

friggin' PH and water... I thought it need to be 6.5 to 7.2 water ph for a soil grow. For example I was watering (in containers outdoors) my water was above 7.6 (not sure where using fish ph test crap) and after a few weeks I started noticing issues didn't think to check water PH till last week and found it was super alkaline (used to having well water hence why I let it go till I noticed an issue, or series of them I should say.) Now I have been trying to get my water down around 6.4-6.6 for this last month of veg time then 6.8 to 7.0 for flower time... am I confused here? Been nearly 2 years since I grew a batch and now I feel like a renoob...

Yeah we need experts to weigh in here....I've only hand watered maybe 7-8 times this year due to the rain anyways.

Experts for what. You guys just make to big a deal over it or don't listen. PH your water if you want, it won't hurt. I don't and have no fing problems along with everyone else who don't PH ! But I have set my soil up do to so and this grow has been organic, IF you are feeding SYNTHETICS I suggest you PH your feed solution . All Ph does is keep the feed solution in a range where the plant up takes it best. In between waterings with out PH will be fine for you synthetic guys.
