Thanks man.....be doing some serious thinking about switching to leds.
Now they have some new clear bulb units...but super expensive!

switching just a 1000w to the 3-400w led will save you 60%=240. im not saying switch over the hps's though. still need a lil more convincing, specially when you can do vertical to blow yeilds out of the water compared to led,maybe. i wonder if switching a 1000hps vertical to led would be worth it...

Yea....dont know if i would bud with an led....unless they were small ones.
I just use my light to veg, then it's out to the greenhouse to finish!

HEY....this has turned out to be a very good thread and discussion. No one has gotten out of line and some serious shit has been laid out and numerous exchanges occurred and everyone remained civil....I am proud of you guys....LOL
I am going to mark this thread and watch the posters in here as I believe most of us here are probably a bit older and been around a bit....hope you all don't mind. I won't stalk ya but just watch some of your future comments......sometimes I really regret answering anything in the threads because of the cockamammie responses

I hear ya Wicked1. I was quite outspoken in my youth, but have learned to be more open-minded because people have a lot of great knowledge and first how accounts that really are bits of gold. It sometimes gets to easy to fly off the handle on these forums. It is refreshing to have adult conversations were two parties can happily disagree. I truly do hope the best for everyone, and if I ever do offend, I usually am quick to make amends. Here's to everyone, and to the Wicked1 for the complement to everyone.

Yes sir and please do withhold comment until you have the experience either way. As I said, I had good luck with the limited Blue something...Magoo anyways it turned out decent and I was happy at the time, but I quickly moved on away from it as there was better. I hope you find that ONE that kills ya....LOL....I am sure with the genetics he has there are bound to be gems, just when you do not breed properly maybe you express the wrong allels??? ok best of luck to you my friend and please report back to us.

Often it goes awry due to tempers and ego's....this is why I said the group that participated in this discussion made their say without offending others or directing it at others and I was very pleased to see this and to re read the thread.....alot of good information in here and alot of good opinions. Thank you. I hope we may continue along these lines. I know I too have bad days and will rant or blow something up like a drama queen.....some days for me are not as good as others...and I hope you all will understand....if/when I reread what I post and it does not come off right sounding to me, then I will come back in and apologize to correct it.

I haven't posted in a while and read this thread and wanted to give my 2 cents ... I grabbed the Blackberry Wreck , Cookiewreck , Daffie and Tenneesee Purple Kush ... I was also sent Larry's Lemon Cookies , Graceland OG and Bubbas Urkle Cookies personally from CV ... and I grew all the freebies that were included in the four packs I mentioned and purchased ... I have to say I wasn't all that impressed with the TPK ,or the Daffie or Cookiewreck for that matter ... Not to say but in my 25 years of growing indoors and out ... I found a pheno in the Blackberry Wreck that is a super elite plant , that I'm moving to exclusively grow ... It is the most thrichomed cover plant I've ever seen and smells like a blackberry pie ... The flowers are so dense it's unreal .... The Larry's Lemon Cookies is stupid good as well ... Rock hard nugs that are neon green and covered in thrichomes that smell like lemon fuel ... Again I will say I wasn't that impressed with the Daffie , Cookiewreck, lavender x flaming cookies , Ecsd x Cookiewreck or the Graceland OG ...Out of the Chameleon Kush I found a keeper and again I have been growing 2 and a half decades and have never clutched a plant like I possess now in the Blackberry Wreck ... IT'S EXTRODINARY .... Stupid good ... And I also forgot the Bubba's Urkle Cookies was A+ meds. I have heard a lot of negative shit about CV and I'm gonna say this ... He treated me great and I respect him ... I guess I'm just over the fucking moon about the pheno I found in that pack of Blackberry Kush ... I would have paid a grand for it ... With all this said ... Sometimes you get lucky and some times you can't find a winner ... I do understand how disappointing it is when you spend money and time and shit don't turn out like you expect ... I have spent over 15,000 on seeds and cuts in the last six years and it finally has paid off ... THANKS CV

damn only pack u didnt get was flaming cookies. sold out at purchase? lol that blackberry wreck sounds phenominal! i got some good shit from my flaming cookies. that bubba urkle sounds great too...
