Yea it's a weed and just grows for most part right....I am in wheelchair and loosing use of left arm so it's a bit harder to keep it up, causes flareups if i work too hard, etc....for those not physically challenged its really not bad and cheap once you put out initial cost.

yeah pretty much its really easy IMO I see people say its hard all the time but the only time its hard is outdoors then its not even hard to grow just hard work unless of course your legal and you have it growing in your backyard. but if your way out in the woods up on a mountain lugging 2 5 gallon buckets full of water through the woods in the summer heat its not easy one bit not to mention lugging the soil up. But indoors is about as easy as it gets the initial cost is pretty rough I've got over $2,000 invested in equipment but every grow only costs a few hundred but then you can harvest 4-5 pounds every 2 months then you figure most will charge about 4 grand per pound that makes 16-20 k every 2 months if you ask me most growers are greedy as hell. I won't charge anyone them prices let alone a med patient I'm not trying to make 100k a year the reason I started growing was the street price and the crap quality people chopping early just to get an extra crop or 2 a year not curing properly the hell with that I grow to the best of my ability and hook people up with a much better deal needless to say its gone the moment its ready I can run a warehouse and not even keep up with the demand. But really my biggest expense is seed but thats only cause I'm trying to get a real good mother stock so my weed is consistently some the best weed in new england but even just on seed runs I do it always comes out better than the commercial street indoor but everyone loves my 2 mothers so far but I want more moms and better moms only thing I'm greedy about are clones no way am I passing off a cut of my best girls someone wants to go digging around through 100's of seeds be my guest I've been working at it for about 2 years now but I'm picky just like luther burbank say's "select the best reject the rest" but I've got more money into seed then equipment and unlike most I've got some haze's to sift through nobody sells haze in new england there just too greedy to wait over 8 weeks let alone 12 but most growers are only in it for the money and theres a few that don't even smoke. :bigjoint:

Not fully disagreeing with you guys BUT running a full room is work. Not incredicly hard true but time consuming work.

cut clones/trnasplant existing clones to veg/transplant veg to flower/cut flower down/trim and dry/ clean up/ fill nutrients solution... so thats one time a month , easily a weeks worth of work.

daily now you need to check ph/ppm adjust if necessary/ check for bugs/ spray for bug prevention/ make temps in order/ make humidity in order/water them/ TRAIN them.

so yea, if doing a nice setup and healthy room then its work and not just as easy as in a pot and water under a light unless you want just bottom line or rather high risk of problems and wasted time.

perpetual/fire/healthy = work...

My rooms are a 30 hour a week job when you average in trim week once a month. That's not counting the hours the wife helps. Its not "hard" but the more you put into it, the more you get out.

IMO "street prices" are falling. $250/oz would be a FANTASTIC price for commercial beantown weed. Now; perhaps "medical prices" are rising. I would think $250/oz would be a perfect price for medical marjiuana; I agree with you that folks didn't realize what a great deal they were giving. In a perfect world I could give bags of grass to strangers; but in this world, I still heat my house with fucking dinosaur blood. Happy growing

wow bro 30 hours a week? damn! does trim week = harvest?

not criticizing you but what takes you over 4 hours a day in your rooms?

this may be a thread in it's entirety but it seems on subject to me. i was just approved for the program yesterday so i have the 4-6 weeks to wait for my paperwork to be processed but had a question. is it normal and safe to get overages seen advertised online. this seems to be somewhat commonplace but seems a bit off to me. some different varieties i've seen advertised as overages look great but that process weirds me out.

I have seen people advertise on CL for overages and asking for donations.people do it,but beware of being robbed.also I have to note that it is illegal for these caregivers to deal with other patients unless they are assigned to your card.only way its legal is if they give you meds for free.and who is going to do that? Don't support these CL caregivers trying to get rich and ruin the program.if you cannot grow your own or find a caregiver to assign just assign a compassion center.

"Compassion centers" are just as corrupt and taking illegal actions.. will only buy a lb or more, plus will buy from somebody they aren't registered to.

i have not sold to them but from what i have heard from other people that did sell to them they will buy just a few ounces if its good.they worked it into the law that they are legally able to purchase from patients/caregivers without having them "assigned" to your card.keep in mind that out of the 2 open centers slater is the only one purchasing from the public.im sure that seeking meds from the public will slow down if not end all together once there grows are in full swing.

They will take less than a pound. I don't think they will be able to supply themselves with only 99 lights. If they got 5 grows per year that is still only 500 lbs which when you are one of 3 centers that doesn't go that far, 10 lbs per week. At the orientation they said they estimate the will have to buy 80% or there Meds. Once greenleaf goes through what they have stocked up they will be buying too but they will never have the amount of patients that slater has because of their location.

its been so long i dont remember how many lights they had when i went on the tour before they opened.but if it is 99 lights considering they have the best of the best i would think they should be pulling 2lbs per light or else they need a new grow manager.20lbs a week is alot to go through almost 3 lbs a day.your probably right and i was probably wrong i think the more patients they get maybe there will be more demand than what they can grow.or as more and more people are growing here in RI it will get flooded with meds (its kind of happening now) prices will plummet and nobody will need to go to slater and pay over $100 for a quarter.only time will tell i guess.

They wont get 2lb per plant... its 1kw over each flower plant. He was saying his method usually gets him 12-14oz per plant. Thats with 2 month veg time. Then account for his sativa long flower periods, soil organic grows, hydro grows, coco grows... all of which have different growth ect. I big operation like that is very easy when having all same system and doing all indica or all sativa but when swapping and doing variety it come a ton of work and there is no set scheduals. EESPECIALLY when growing from seed!

nvm if somehow a bug were to get inside the building...

The reason for the 99 lights is 99 flowering plants which is less than the federal regs. They should be able to hit a pound per plant.
