I'm not pointing to Detroit as a racial failure, I'm pointing to Detroit as proof your progressive "help" doesn't work. The city's service budget grew every year despite the tax base shrinking every year. It was unsustainable when you can't print your own currency. If we traded Detroit dollars we'd be screwed right now but I'm sure you don't see a connection.
