I am extremely interested in the scientific study of human nature and I am aware of no well regarded research which points to racism being inherent. It is learned, from fear to hatred and from views to deeds, not "human nature". That is unless you can point to the discovery of the racist gene.

There is no profound study on "human nature".
Psychologists try explain things using unproven theoretical numbers and the length of study is simply not long enough to make a determination about such a fast changing species.
My theory? Human nature is "seasonal" and thusly studying it is folly, we're simply a too unpredictable species.

Could you tell me, is it the melanin differences that cause Sickle Cell anemia? Is it the lack of melanin that causes cystic fibrosis to pretty much be a whites only condition? What is it about melanin that gives the Jews Tay-Sachs disease? There is substantially more differences in the races than a simple chemical process going on in the dermal regions.

No, no they haven't. You keep insisting they have so you can justify your laws based on melanin while criticizing others for saying there are differences. It's odd. We have perverse incentives in this country that encourages dependence all in the name of votes and control.
If the government told us that starting in 2014 they were going to start mowing lawns for anyone who doesn't have a lawnmower, how many new ones do you think would be sold between now and then? How many people that have mowers now would get rid of them by 2014? If you understand this concept yet refuse to understand the notion of a welfare state, it's only because you refuse to.
In fact, if the gov cut our grass every 2 weeks then "austerity" forced them to only cut it every 4 weeks, there would be protests. People who think like you would lead the charge and talk about the unfairness of it all. Might even back up your claims with data showing how dangerous it is to only have our yard mowed so infrequently, never thinking of cutting your own grass. You would probably even bemoan losing your "rights".
If this were kept up for 4 generations, odds are we wouldn't even know HOW to mow a lawn.

You ought to take your own advice, There is being a Jew, and there is being Jewish. The later is the faith, the former is the race. Jews have unique medical conditions, and collectively have the highest average IQ of any race of people. That might explain why one of the smallest races on the planet controls so much of the worlds wealth; Jews are the smartest group of people.

There is a fear of "the other" among humankind that is shown throughout history. The word racist is tricky, the last century it has become less out in the open but still is an issue that gets people fired up. Humans do not have to display genetically a pre-disposal for anything. Earlier homonids warred and forced extinction of other forms of homonids. This is not exactly the same, I realize, but certain instincts are likely at work from a time when natural selection still applied to humans. Human nature includes evolution and that includes learned behavior, cooperation, and a survival instinct. Indirectly, and perhaps for good reason at the time, racist(tribal) dominance was a necessity and a natural mechanism. We do not know, but genetics show racial superiority to be a falsehood and we can now see with a lens that was unavailable. In nature, savage behavior against the same species is common and "the other" can be applied to pack behavior. These are ideas that are not my own but we have to look at what we are and what we have become as inherent. To me, I see a racist species pulling out of its nature in a way, unlearning obsolete paradigms. Tolerance is a learned behavior or is it inherent? It is tricky, when a human concept gets passed to science for proof. I think the science is there to show inherent tendencies that today would be racist. The subject is hanging by the humankind that is emerging. What we become shows us the truth.

How can a religion 5000 years old be a race of its own? Isolation creates physical traits and thus races. Intelligence is a racial division? any grouping of people whether racial or not will have one that has the highest average of any human characteristic. Systematic enslavement and persecution may have helped in terms of intelligence.....the clever survived?
