I only ask because another american i was speaking with, stated he felt free because he has the constitutional right to bear arms
although a little later he went on to say "the cops took my bubba kush" he sounded disheartened ,

i asked him why he did not use his gun to defend himself against the thieves that took his babba
i was under the impression that the right to bear arms was not only to protect Americans from other American citizens, but also to protect themselves from
a foreign government or a tyrannical domestic one

even though he believed the thieves were wrong to take his babba, his convictions had not changed
even though he believed he had the right to defend himself he did not act

what is the point of having the constitutional right to bare arms, if ya'll are too yellow to use them when it really counts ?
