They don't ALL hate you, it's only a small minority... If you look at those alleged "hardcores" they are easily corruptible and obsessively vein. While I agree the Afghans are enjoying a hell of a lotta freedoms these days, compared to what is was like under the Taliban, some of those freedoms have come at the cost of family members lives. Half of the afghan populace is under the age of 18 and as we prepare to pull out the bulk of conventional forces, we are facing an eerily similar situation to that the Russians faced when withdrawing. That vacuum drew in the jihadists, from around the globe in the early '90s.
TBH if we really want to put an end to this, we'll need to engage Iran positively and proactively and shun the House of Saud.

Agree with the bolded, I wouldn't look at the burka though as a tool of repression, outside of the radicalised circles. Many Islamic women in western countries choose to wear the hijab as a sign of respect and modesty.
In the countries with Sharia law, it's more of an ingrained societal expectation regarding the place of women, especially in Saudi Arabia, changing the old school hardliners is the key, I agree, adding them to the JPEL is also an option...

sorry bro but I can't agree with you. while there are the radicals the majority of afghans want change and for their daughters to be educated. I've seen it too, first hand in Uruzgan province.
You're referring to radical interpretations of islam by corrupt, jihadists. Real Islam doesn't preach violence, suicide attacks WILL NOT get you into heaven, murder will not get you into heaven.
