Watering/nute log - do you keep a log

Hello, so we are curious as to how everyone tracks the nutes and water amounts given to your girls. Do you use a spiral notebook, software, spreadsheet, etc. We learned quickly that we had CRS at 6 am as to when we watered and nuted last as well as what was the PPM. So we developed a spreadsheet that tracks watering, nutes, co2 readings, PPM and a section for notes for each week. Is there any other anal growers out there? :-P

If you have anything you think might be helpful for others please post.

I keep track on a calendar. I've done a decent job, but I do miss things from time to time (I'm often updating it while I'm smoking, so...), and I often don't track smaller things, such as giving a plant that looks a bit droopy a little sip of water, but feedings, when seeds pop, are planted, and first show pistils are all tracked. I also tried including my other plants (tomatoes, peppers and a poinsettia) but it was just too much.

Have you seen the "free growing software" sticky? I think its in the General Growing thread section. I haven't tried it, but it might interest you guys (though a well-constructed spreadsheet's hard to beat).

Cheers!

have not tried the software, was wondering how well it worked. We use spreadsheets, one for veg, one for flower and one for seeds and clones. I need to make another one for the outdoor girls. Here are a few samples of the one's we use. For clones we are tracking, soil used, cloning medium used and the date they showed roots. For veg we are tracking nutings and watering, in the notes section we write down stuff like when we transplanted to bigger pot, supplemental nutrients/beneficials given and flower we a tracking our co2 levels at different times of day, nutes/water and notes for additional info.

I use a combination of HerbIQ, a calandar, and a spiral notebook.

HerbIQ is a program that tracks things like veg time, flower time, nute levels, lineage..ect You can pretty much input any sort of data you would like to track over a period of time.

I use the calendar as references for when I last foliar sprayed, applied neem, or fed bacterial or fungal teas.

The spiral notebook I use exclusively to track each plants varying level of nutes, as well as what they were last fed, when, and how much of each bottle in my GO organics line (Cal/mag, BioMarine, BioRoot, Biothrive, Bioweed, BioBud, Molasses, humics...ect) I also keep my tea recipes in my spiral.

I started with ONLY the HerbIQ program, but found it faster to jot things down horribly fast, and not forget to via a notebook. Herb IQ is great to just open up and say ooh, each plant is at this week of flowering, had this much veg, days in the cloner, lineage, all that is right there. It's a great quick reference for your garden.

Good times...I LOVE keeping organized.

Nice guys, sounds like me all try to keep track of what the hell we are doing given we all have CRS! Lol. I have heard about HerbIQ and was wondering how people liked it. I love keeping stats, so if we are flowering let's say three Death Stars at once and one is doing better than the other. I wanna be able to trace it back to who we clones from, etc. So we might have to check out that program, anyone using any other software program out there?
