yeah Who-kie, ......it is a fun hobby but does pose issues and risks if you are no longer legal, thus it makes no sense to grow if you don't need it or can sell it

I'm thinking my next grow will be small, just 2 plants in buckets, keep it simple

My Lemon Skunk clones look like garbage :( The timer on my pump failed and i didnt notice for maybe two days. But now they all seem to have roots. Just gotta get em back to shape.

Whats your take on foxtails :)?

Foxtails are often genetic, but if a strain that is not usually prone to foxtail does, it is almost always due to heat. Extreme light intensity late in flower can also cause foxtailing, which is why I usually try to raise the light the last 2-3 weeks of flower. Won't have that option on my current grow, these mainlined girls are lanky as hell.

I'm not good with clones yet....and I can't keep mothers I kill them or bloom them, seeds of all the same kind is easier for me...I'm not in any hurry...But thanks JD
I start mine in a small DWC cloner. Instead of pots I use inserts, so it is easy to take my clones once they root and put them in hempy buckets. I actually find starting seeds in hempy buckets is harder. There is slow growth until those roots hit the bottom reservoir, than it takes off.

Hydro..

Almost all of my girls this run have lots of foxtailing. Heat is a big cause...but if its just at the end of flower like yours on well formed buds its no biggue at all...and they make perfect'bong hits.
Foxtailing follows me around too and I grow something different every round. So ithat kinda blows the per/strain theory. I do run close to my lights so you have a point Shiva. I've never looked at it as a bad thing. It's just the individual buds that make up the cola ruuning out of room to grow laterally with the main stem..so they turn outwards. If bag appeal is the downer, then you could always singulate the smaller buds from the main tops. I kinda like them myself and consider them a "plus".

Hey guys I'm redesigning my scrog crates to reduce height and things are looking a bit cramped so i am trying to figure out how much deeper i can bury plants when i transplant, this is a bit of an over kill example but could i say drop the base of the plants roots by like a foot under the perlite and then leave limbs down there and route them out of the perlite, also if i did this would the roots take the whole bucket or would they not grow past upwards past a certain point or do they even grow up wards at all?

That's funny Who cause even after all of my experience with psilocybin i still don't know what it means lol, as far as the mylar goes i dunno how i pulled it off, its not perfect and its starting to get kinda fucked up but considering i did it solo with a 4 foot roll, some foil tape, and a staple gun, its not half bad, i wanted to make panels and mount the walls with them to get them perfect and easily maintain them but i couldn't justify the extra cost or effort...

Oh yeah and I hand waxed my truck :)
Who-kie, nice pics....sativa in your strains will have you waxing the truck, sweeping the garage floor and cleaning the basement too...TIP: if you get some car wax on your bare hands, handle young sprouts and clones with rubber or nitrile gloves for a couple of days. Don't ask how I know....aliens from my last abduction left me with this....didn't know why till your post. Hope you read this before handling them.

OOOPs too late, waxed the truck yesterday and played with the plants last night, but I will try and put on gloves for awhile...I'm kinda short, so I have been waking her in spots at a time that I can reach...it was funny when it rained yesterday I could see where I waxed and where I could not reach. I named her Ruby as she is pretty red, I got some mud flaps for her today, I live on a gravel road and I don't want her paint messed up, so they may help...I need some nerf bars too, it's just a little too high for me to get into, I have to get on my tippy toes...

Psilo if you bury the stalk or plant branches more likely than not they will root...if they dont you may get damping off which is bad news...however with perlite the top 40% of a hempy stays pretty dry.

Whocares its probably not worth the risk if youre a light smoker...im just hooked on this hobby as its a way of life in my family and area....if you stop growing cannabis maybe you could do some awesome indoor tomato, peppers, herbs, ect and post your stuff here ..id love to grow a bunch of indoor veggies...but im using my wiring capacity for safety already.

So in the absence of light the stem and branches will grow roots? This means i should be able to go quite a bit deeper on my transplant and not have to worry about my buckets not filling up with roots completely correct? I'm gonna take a look at my clones and see how much root is coming off there upper area of the stem i planted them pretty deep in the solo cup hempys.

Burying the stem produces some amazing plants. I did it with two tomato plants outside and their growth is amazing.
