You go Brotha Watts! You will have some long spears this grow. I too am on my first strain ever that needs watering every other day.....my usual is every 3 days in flower. As a matter of fact I was down to every 2.5 days on the Sharkbreath grow during week 2 of flower. I did some defoliating (per your past suggestions) and interestingly enough it went back to every 3.
Stay cool...this heat won't last long for you...I have to deal with it till middle of Oct.
With this summer heat the girls need to drink that's for sure. I've been thinking of getting another timer for my lights so I can run 1 bulb for the 1st half of lights on then 2 bulbs for just the last half. I do have a 350w led panel, but it doesn't give me the same footprint.

Hope this reads okay, the canna caps are just starting to kick in. Need to watch some Robot Chicken.

I personally want to have at least 3 nodes on the new mains before I flip. I'll let them veg for 2wks after topping.

With 5 wks to go in flower I'll be able to top my clones a second time before I transplant them and flip.

Humidity is great in veg. But during flower it is best to keep it under 40%. Hi humidity during flower can lead to some ugly things like bud rot, mildew, & mold. Especially when growing dense indica bud.
Awesome, WS, thanks for the tips!! I never, ever stop learning so I really appreciate it!!

Little update on the Green Poison, she is recovering from the late life transplant, and the bud on her has thickened in the last day. I'll get a photo tomorrow, the lights a little dim now outside.

Good to hear about the auto Watt. My auto is going to produce just one tiny top cola, but I have been hitting her with some bloom booster hoping she will at least fatten up. If I can remember to snap a pic tomorrow I'll post one on WoH. Looking forward to the indoor update Watts.

These autos are cute little things, they look like a pot plant only smaller. The solo cola on the GP is getting thicker than I expected it would especially after the overfeeding trauma. Hey SS you wouldn't happen to have a snap shot of you little girl?

She definitely took a beating from the hail storm we had, took out most of her lower branches and alot of her leaves. I germinated her in soil and she came out of the gate really lethargic, almost no growth the first 3 weeks till I transplanted her to a hempy cup. Then she took off and I put her outside into the ground, only to have her get her ass kicked by hail. She is at 62 days from germ today and she looks like she has a ways to go yet. She is Northern Lights x Big Bud from World of Seeds.

Poor sad looking little auto! I have been giving her GH Floraduo and liquid koolbloom, hoping she bulks up some.

Hey Stone thanks for the photos, I see what you mean about one tiny cola. From what I've read about autos they don't handle stress well. And it sounds like your poor girl has had more than her share of stress. But otherwise she looks real healthy.

Green Poison update, photos from yesterday, day 57. The progression of being burnt to the ground has stopped, and the little cola has started to thicken up, and there is a nice sweet skunk sent, it's also frosting up some. Today I started to give her food again. I went with a small dose of Cha-Ching bloom booster, I wanted to use something with little to no nitrogen. Hopefully there's enough leaf left for her to finish.

You may have noticed that the GP looks like the leaning (mini) tower of Pisa. At the transplant she was just slightly out of plumb. But after a slow 4 gal flush, she settled into the current position. I figure it's better to leave her alone and not fu_k with her.

I've been building a rig to stabilize the solo cup hempy auto I want to run outside. Need to negate the leverage of the wind from affecting the cup stability and the roots within the cup. I'll have something to show within a wk.

Yeah I would definitely just leave the GP and let her finish out. She looks pretty chunky at least though. My auto is supposed to be a 65 day variety and I am at day 65 from seed today and she is no where near close. If she wouldn't have lost her lower branches she might have looked like your GP a bit.

She continues to plump, and I noticed that the fan leaf stems were really fat and moist. It looked like she was trying to repair the damaged fans. Not sure if this true or not, but I don't want to see her put any energy into repairs, so I cut off all the 1/2 cooked leaves. I did a trich check and it is mostly cloudy now. Might be done by next weekend.

Funny you should mention the support. Yes they are currently holding themselves up. This morning I found 2 of the few lower branches had folder near their base due to the weigh of the bud head. Tonight I'm going to string my support wires. I'll get a couple of photos.

Watt why don't u just put the solo cup in a pot with some hydrotron or fish tank gravel, That's what I had to do to some of mine that were to heavy and could not stand by themselves, Just use it as a weight...

Say you guys...what's up?

I have started using dirt to start my clones and seedlings. I'm hoping this will give them more stability after I have transplanted them into the larger hempy buckets.

Say Stone, your plants are looking very happy and healthy.

Say Watts, your leaning tower is...well...leaning! It looks great, other than the burn, which looking at your new growth, seems to be rebounding nicely.

Say! Yall stop be and see me sometime, it's getting kinda lonely in my garden.

I always start in soil, and have never seen any transplant stress going into a hempy. I do it because its just so easy, its great not having to worry about when and how much to feed.

YesterdayI built my outdoor rig for hempy solo cup. This is what I'll be using for the 3 new Pineapple Express. One in both of the 2gal buckets which I used to anchor the solo. The 2 forward wire struts will be bent and used to hold a shade screen for the cup. I still need to build a trellis, but I want a little growth before I set a height. The cup is for a party cup auto competition.13-07-27_d60_GP 001riu.jpg
