I'm lucky because my tent is situated near the door of a double brick garage. So I can suck fresh outside air in and blow the filtered air straight out of the tent. It works well. But cutting holes is sometimes required indoors. Holes are easy to fix in most roof, if you have some handyman skill, but I wouldn't be allowed anyway! ;) If I was indoor I'd have one of those portable aircon panels at the end of the window with another hole cut at top for air out and the original hole for air in.

If you are looking for a carbon filter setup for a 'smaller' grow you don't need something 400CFM $200+. There are options under $100 that would work just as well in area based on your needs. But as everybody else says always be on the safe side so do make sure you do take some odor reducing precautions whatever they might be.

You dont have to exhaust . The specs for fan that is meant to recirculate in a room will be about twice the cfm that a fan/filter meant to scrub and exhaust.fan and filter combos are matched for proper performance.
You have to pull tthe air over the carbon at a specific rate to scrub completely.

People need to understand, the most important thing is to keep this private, and you must take all means to do so.... Ona is good when you open the door, or etc but a constant grow, Ona is never the answer.

Quick question, will Ona Gel work in drying rooms? I'm worried about it absorbing into the drying buds. Will it work by simply opening up the bucket and sitting inside the room?

I was asked this before since I use ONA, but since I only use it when I open the door, I never noticed any of the smell getting into the buds. I wouldn't necessarily use ONA as the primary way to control smell. It is a good quick coverup and complements the usage of a carbon scrubber in my opinion.

My cracked/leaking toilet tank has brought to light a VERY important issue that I had TOTALLY overlooked!! I am grateful for all the excellent advise!!

Cant blame a girl for trying!! For now I shut the water valve off and after addressing the aroma issue will call the handyman out

Dryer sheets tied to a fan. Quick and easy. But that's just for a quickie . Don't leave them forever. I heard its bad to smell over extened period of time

That or look for a 420 friendly handyman. Or Mexican dude. Hahha I kid , I kid :fire:
