Damn, pretty cool collection of genetics. What's ecsd? i see a lot of crosses with it so it must be either fire and/or a stable with good traits? My vote goes for malowi gold x humbolt purple or platinum og x bigbud. i'm jealous you have some lambsbread lineage in your stash, one of my favorites...along with headband...and jack...
Wish I could make it up to the expo this weekend. Have fun out there, bring back lots of apache info. I saw california lightworks and illumitex will be there, if you get a chance swing by their booths and let us know what your impressions are. Haven't seen them first hand so I'd appreciate a trustworthy opinion on them. Peace.

The max yield show was awesome. There was so many different things there it blows ones mind. I tried to get some footage but was so busy at the AT booth I really didn't get much...and what I did get you couldn't hear anything. We didn't set up till saturday morning then worked all day...partied all night. Showed up late on sunday...me only 30min..."A" about 1+hour. Then at the end had to clean up quick. So long story short my testing abilities while there were limited but I got some good numbers on the big AT660.

One thing that was cool was to meet in person Darrel of Inda-gro. He is a really nice guy. He seemed like it, but in person he is genuine and was cool to talk to. I wanted to meet chaz but we never crossed paths. I got a good video of the IG booth and what they had going on...the only video you can sorta hear.

Dude, nice video of the inda-gro booth. That light dimmer is pretty cool stuff for greenhouses. Also liked that they came over and did a video of the apache booth. Like how it isnt about led vs induction but effieciency vs non-effeciency.
Awesome numbers the new AT's are pushing. So I'm kind of stuck now with what I should do...do I get an AT200 in my tent, or do i retire the old stuff and just go for the beastie 660? The prices are telling me the 660 is the better value...It should fit in a 3x3, right? But @ 50-60 pounds I'm kind of worried my tent can't hold it....so I'm doing a lot of thinking about this. Any ideas on how to reinforce the tent frame? Or what was being said about plans to get it lighter?

Exactly...it's all about efficiency for me. I obviously like Apache for pure led's, but I am loving my Inda-gro w/ pontoon, and I would really like to get into CMH's, instead of my 600's.
Honestly the AT200 would probably be enough considering you have the SGS still. Even if dawg takes your 120 you would have a lot of fire power. The 200 is driven a little harder than the 660 so it has lots of punch in the little unit.
But I know how you like cool new toys...
The AT660 is about 30x29 in actual size so it will literally be covering your whole canopy. It will be pretty crazy for a 3x3 but will make some massive nugs top to bottom, center to edge, for sure.
They have a better heat sink that is about 60% of the weight of the old model so it helps the big 660 a lot. It still weighs about 50lbs though...but the 4x8 tent at the show handled all the lights in there fine...and they were the old heat sinks too. I think in a 3x3 or 4x4 it takes up so much space it hangs almost vertical and doesn't pull inward so much and thus holds the weight better compared to a bigger tent(6x6). And it has 4 hanging points(or more) so the weight is distributed pretty good.

Sounds exactly like me, Im going nuts and cant decide what I should get. And being a first time grower doesnt really help either... I was about to pull the trigger on the Plant Photonics or Hans Panels but since I've read Tags posts I just cant get the ApacheTech gear out of my mind.
Tags if I ever buy a light from them you can be sure I'll tell the crew you're the best rep they can even dream of and that they should offer you more free lights

You've made my decision a little easier. Kind of leaning toward the AT200 at this point...mostly because ideally I'd like to keep my tent under 600w total and i think i'd still be under 50lbs with a third light, but god damn, that AT660 is just so damn sexy that I want it bad. Still have a couple weeks to decide...
Glad to hear you are happy with the inda-gro w/ pontoon. I did some experimenting with Far Red 730nm a couple years back, still have the bulbs. I never really used them for the transition to dark deal, but instead found them to increase density some when ran during lights on but maybe i was just imagining things, nothing was scientific. I'd like to continue experimenting with that and also try out leaving them on for a few minutes after lights out ala the pontoon.

Glad I'm not the only one! Both the plant photonics and hans are really good panels, I consider them to be the european equivalents to apache tech in terms of quality. But being stateside and since apache tech is super local to where I'm at, it made my choice to go with them a lot easier. I've been using the original AT120 for around a year now and it's hands down an amazing piece of lighting. So I'm super stoked for the new gear to get in my setup. And I whole-heartedly agree that Tags is the man!

Thanks for the props guys. Maybe "A" will see this and finally hire me. As of now I am just a friend of his that grows and really believes in their product...so obviously we have some mutual interest. I get some kick backs for things like the max yield show and grow info but I would love to have actual rep status with them. It would make my life a lot less stressful and more fun. They could use someone like me, he can't do everything by himself. I have a B.S. business management and know the led/grow industry pretty well IMO. Not to mention my 9 years of actual serious growing. And I do grow and know much more than just the danks...I have a nice vegetable gardens too.

The new Apache gear is pretty sweet. And I think that they are really going 100% on getting new better things employed as they become available...not sitting on dope new chips for almost 12 months. So the present and future looks really good for AT...and hopefully I can be apart of it too.
So far as of now, the inda-gro will be getting moved to the big room when this project is done. I run it just like a regular light(12/12), I think the 660nm really completes the induction spectrum for flower. And the 730 does whatever...defiantly doesn't hurt. Darrel had a infrared pic of the 730's on and you could really see the penetration well. It's a solid light and I'm glad I picked it up.
I want to get some UVB tubes next. Simple and cheap but could really up the crop quality.
But I am starting to have more grow lights than space or plant count will let me play with.

not sure if UVB tubes are worth the extra effort. I supplement with Coral Waves (UVA plus red plus IR) and can't find space to put more lights overhead

UVB is what every university, and professional grower uses. They are available at tons of places and are super cheap compared to diodes. Pretty sure 310nm is what Stanford uses. Just regular reptile tubes basically. And I was talking to Ed Rosenthal at the max yield show a lot about uvb and it is definitely the correct uv.
I want to make a pontoon of 2ft uvb tubes to fit any AC hps hood. Kinda like Inda-gro meets CLW. But make it adjustable to fit any hood. Don't any one go stealing my idea now, but how cool would those be. Pretty surprised they don't have them...probably do and I'm late to the party.
But som IR could improve things though...but once the IG gets into the normal mix I will have some 730 getting thrown around a little.

The new 660 racks will be around 50 lbs ? Damn.. I was kind of hoping to get 2-4 of them shipped to Spain, it will be a fortune!
So you are running the same Pontoon as the one they were showing ? Just without the light sensor ?

A single original AT120 weighs 15lb...X4=60lbs. Like I said the new heat sink is about 60% of the weight..but drivers, lenses, pcb's, wires, housing all weight the same. So ya about 45-50lb. So shipping could be rough for. But I know they are working on shipping details and ways to keep the cost down. Funny to watch people faces when the pick up/feel in person. They always think they are going to be light...led's are heavy as fuck for their sizes compared to the big empty space of an hps hood.
Yes that is the same pontoon I have...but I don't have the sensor. No need for the sensor in a completely indoor setup. The sensor is so you don't over supplement in green houses when the sun is doing a lot already. Indoors we usually can't get too much light.
