Flowering cycle question

What happens if it isnt 100% dark in the grow room during night time of the flowering cycle? Stunted budgrowth? Does my door need a little duct tape?

If it isn't 100% dark, your plants will stress, and likely turn hermie (along with other issues).

Lights-off means dark, period.

Light leaks are bad for bud development, but I leave my closet door open even after the light shuts off. Some residuals light from the window shines a bit in there for about an hour but it's not a big deal. My plants are always robust and healthy.

all ways been my favorite question. i live in the city so is never truly pitch black dark.

total dark is the best, if you have light leaks small amounts, they will herm you can count on that , if there is much more light so u can see you hand in front of your face and see to walk around, they may continue to veg and not flower, . if your having issues sealing the room it is hard to get it total dark, I had to get a few rolls of duck tape and card board seal it all up took hours. or use those film liners they work great. or buy a tent . most of them are pitch black with the zipper shut

Locked myself in the closet and tried to focus my eyes in the dark by staying a little longer too see the plant and I really COULDNT. Is that dark enough?? IUSED THE GRANDMAS BLANKET METHOD.

mine are in two huge rubbermaid containers, inside my closet and i also nailed a blanket over my closet doors to block the light.
its in my room so when the lights are off i wont even turn a desk lamp on in my room lol
dont want hermies!

Slight, indirect light leaks will not cause a problem at all.
