Well I certainly dodged a bullet. I was squating a beautiful house overlooking the beautiful valley of San Fernando. At the time, I was giving a tutorial to a new prospect in the art. He decides not to follow instructions and do whatever he pleased. It brought attention to the pad, sheriffs were called and they kicked down the door. They had just arrested me about two days prior for a warrant and I was released the next day. So this was the third incident within 10 days. They had taken about $200 in lab glass, two pounds of near placebo, scale, 6 grams of hash oil in separate vials, an ounce of virgin material, and put $250 cash from my pocket into evidence along w my phone. When I got to the station I found I was being charged w manufacturing marijuana, which starts at 8 years. I was livid and said I wanted to make a statement. So the cops laughed and gave me a pen and paper. I stated that I broke no laws and that it would be very discouraging to charge me such infractions as I was applying for a federal grant who sees what I do as a hobby as a way of the future. So I wrote the grant number down and went to my cell. 3 days of wondering my fate, I was in court and preparing to go to county jail when my name was called to be released. I never seen the judge nor a public defender, but had represented myself so well in the statement that the case was DA REJECTED. The releasing officers where giving me props about the federal grant saving my ass, but had I been making BHO I would have definitely been facing charges that where accurate for my actions. I thank god I have many tricks up my sleeve that would save my ass from doing time. But as I told the deputies, I break no laws, and as I run into the sheriffs last night, They knew who I was when I told them I was just released on manufacturing charges and not harass me any further.
