So im having ALOT of problems with my seedlings. i lost 10 out of 15 in about 2 days, i germinated them using the paper towel method. Then i planted them in their pots with the tap root facing down. Problem was i planted them too deep and then when i tried to unbury them and i ended up damaging the seedlings... Then i tried using a germination kit, you know, the kind that has the clear dome and rapid rooter plugs... Well this resulted in much healthier looking seedlings, compared to the first time... I just waited until the first serrated leaves were showing then i put the plugs in larger pots... But i noticed that right after taking them out of the dome they seemed to struggle a little.... So im wondering if this is due to the humidity difference... Inside the dome humidity has to be around 100% (sitting on heating element) and then in the grow tent its around 30-50% humidity.
How long should i leave the seedlings in the dome? Or how can i tell when its time to take them out of the dome?
Thanks in advance, any advice will help, i definitely don't want to loose another batch of seeds due to my own stupidity.
Edit** by the way, on the dome lid i poked four holes in it... 2 on each side, plus ive been opening the dome twice a day for air exchange.
