i know a few people who have done so.

the only problem i've heard of is if you're ordering something popular, they don't set it aside for you even though you've already ordered it and they're just waiting for your cash, so they could very well turn around and tell you it's sold out even though you had it in your cart four weeks earlier..
i think that's kinda beat tbh, but i've heard it from more than one person..

This is why I stopped using them. I've only sent cash to Mandala Seeds in Spain, it went thru and was $80.00. Only reason I did was because they had something that was out of stock every place else and I did not want to wait. I still do not recommend sending real cash to a seed seller, it's already a risk on getting the seeds thru customs, sending real money doubles the risk ratio. Seed Boutique still takes money orders. I've used them about 10 times.

I used a Capital One credit card once, and the particular time I did was to Alien Gro Shop in Holland back in 2007. I got a call from Capital One and the woman service rep said that they had put a freeze on the funds out of suspicion. I acted like a caught little boy with an embarrassed voice and told her it was for sex toys, she laughed , and unfroze the transaction and my seeds came, it was 5 packs too. After that incident I never fooled with credit / debit / gift card transactions anymore, never made another order from the Netherlands either after that, and lived in Georgia too at that time.

I'm still a solid believer in money orders for seeds.

if you're going to send cash in the mail, simply make sure you pay the extra few dollars and get it sent priority, and require and signature and get tracking info.. this way if a problem were to arise, you can track the cash and see if they actually got it.. kind of hard for someone to say they didn't get something when you have a sig and it's tracked right tot their address..
i know that logic from the farm has come out and said that if you don't send cash tracked, it will get lost in the mail.. complete scumbag move, but w/e, just make sure you send it tracked is all..
