That's not 5-MEO-DMT, it's 5-HO-DMT. And basically it makes you violently ill and gives you a helluva fever in the traditional way of using it. But check this out:
In 2001, ethnobotanist Jonathan Ott published the results of a study in which he self-administered free base bufotenine via insufflation(5100 mg), sublingually (50 mg), intrarectally (30 mg), orally (100 mg) and via vaporization (28 mg).[SUP][26][/SUP] Ott reported visionary effects" of intranasal bufotenine and that the "visionary threshold dose" by this route was 40 mg, with smaller doses eliciting perceptibly psychoactive effects. He reported that "intranasal bufotenine is throughout quite physically relaxing; in no case was there facial rubescence, nor any discomfort nor disesteeming side effects".
At 100 mg, effects began within 5 minutes, peaked at 3540 minutes, and lasted up to 90 minutes. Higher doses produced effects that were described as psychedelic, such as "swirling, colored patterns typical of tryptamines, tending toward the arabesque". Free base bufotenin taken sublingually was found to be identical to intranasal use. The potency, duration, and psychedelic action was the same. Ott found vaporized free base bufotenin active from 28 mg with 8 mg producing "ring-like, swirling, colored patterns with eyes closed". He noted that the visionary effects of insufflated bufotenine were verified by one colleague, and those of vaporized bufotenine by several volunteers.
Ott concluded that free base bufotenin taken intranasally and sublingually produced effects similar to those of Yopo without the toxic peripheral symptoms, such as facial flushing, observed in other studies in which the drug was administered intravenously.

Psychoactive toad is a name used for toads from which psychoactive substances from the family of bufotoxins can be derived. The skinand poison of Bufo alvarius (Colorado River toad or Sonoran Desert toad) contain 5-MeO-DMT and bufotenin. Other species contain only bufotenin. 5-MeO-DMT and bufotenin both belong to the family of hallucinogenic tryptamines. Due to these substances the skin or poison of the toads may produce psychoactive effects when ingested.

No, that was my bad. I got curious and went digging and I found out about the 5-MEO-DMT toads, the only ones I knew about before where the Bufo toads and that is bufotenine only.
Bufotenine isn't very pleasant to smoke, I had DMT made from high-alkaloid Phalaris extract and it was kinda on a par with Morning Glory far as the trip vs discomfort went.
You know, Mimosa Hostilis root-bark is completely legal and pretty cheap, and it yields a LOT of good DMT, really pure no other alkaloids. It gets used to make a very opulent purple dye so is in high demand globally for completely legitimate reasons. If any body asks, just tell them you're doing some Tie Dye for Hempfest or something LOL.
Just still seems easier than keeping live toads. And also it might be a problem keeping the toad, all depending on what Nature Conservation in your country is like, over here we have very tight controls on introducing and keeping foreign species of anything so you have to go through a licencing process to do it all legit.
Matter of fact, Bufo Toads are a massive problem for us, they got introduced somehow and of course are taking over natural habitats for the little local froggies...

I was trippin on mescaline and reading posts on RIU a few weeks back. I don't look at palm trees the same anymore cuz of your Avatar. LOL. There are palm trees all over where I live and now I think they all have personalities with crazy hairdo's.
I actually was wondering if you could LICK a frog and get high... Homer did it on the Simpson's so it must be true.... too bad its not. I would lick a frog for sure.

Magic mushrooms growing on everyones lawn, fucking infesting peoples lawns like crazy, all the while DMT toads are hopping all over the roads. Then LSD would be some substance anyone can make with some easy lab tek every home has. Marijuana actually grows like a annoying weed all over the town. People are piling up bushels of marijuana because its all over the backyard and killing the grass. To get hash all you have to do is go grab and rub your neighbors plants after you give him a friendly wave.
Mescaline is actually the one thing that IS everywhere where I live. There is a home that the entire front lawn is San Pedro and Peruvian torch. Must be a TON ,easy, of cactus in the front and back yard of that house.... I have not had the courage to go ask to buy some yet but all the local nurseries cary San Pedro Cacti. I think our local Lowes and HOme Depot got wise to it cuz I have been looking at their Cacti for a year and no mescaline has come through.....

Do 2 feet for sure. Get 4 feet if you can. The trick is to boil that cactus down for as long as possible. Go for 24 hours. Don't opt for the quick tea tek. The last tea I made I crock potted for 15 hours. All I did was cut it into strips and put in a crock pot with water. Then I waited for it to boil down and turn real dark and screened it out with a shirt. Then I boiled that liquid down at low heat for another 2 hours until I had about 2-3cups of tea.
You can't over dose or take too much San Pedro tea. Because, you just physically CAN'T. It is putrid and bitter in taste. You basically can't possible stomach more than 4 cups of Tea. Unless your some kind of fucking beast.
Shit, i bet im gonna get like 10 replys from some of the HS guys on RIU that they drink a gallon for breakfast on Fridays then smoke DMT. But for the mortal man aka average Joe, about a coffee mug full of San Pedro Tea that has been boiled down 15 hours will get you to San Pedro's Gate to meet Mescalito.
P.S. LOOK UP A TEK. I have only made like 12 teas give or take one and they have not been consistent. I usually made the 4 hour tea, and I always got to the thresh hold and/or a good trip. But this last tea I made, when I boiled for long time, I got a full blown ego loss trip. Great fucking trip but a little heavy for what I expected, the come down was so good after I peaked out. mescaline is so great... I am going for a extract soon here. hopefully in August.

SHOTGUN!!.LOL!.. I scrolled down and didn't read but from the top,the river toads have a gland and a poison is excreted and this 'pus' like excretion is placed on aluminum foil,dried in air,then heated as fast as possible and inhaled..containing dmt ad derivitaves it is a tryptamine,but can't be consumed in quick and vast quantities as to induce the trip we heads desire..I say this having never done this,just reading...who knows especially me since I don't...

I've allways wanted to try toad since I heard about it..even the ones in africa or the rainforest...impman,not sure id lick anything with you,but id sure as hell get spun with ya!lol...after I've gotten wiser tho,I find its easier to go to my desk drawer if I wanna trip...and no mosquitos there. Wonder if toad tastes better than deemsters?...frog legs are tasty I guess...

Not according to Wiki. The Toads I speak of secrete poison from their eyeballs. The toxin can't hurt humans, unless you think DMT is painful. The DMT is meant to stun the predator long enough for the toad to make an escape. While you are talking to god about politics, the toad is back in the pond. SOme toads are deadly. not the colorado river toad though

Colorado river toad or sonoran desert toad does not secrete dmt from its eyes. It has glands located on the lower back that secrete bufotoxins and dmt. Read:

not sure what your reading about the toads brother.., i just have Wkipedia and Google. The bufotoxin containing DMT is in the skin and all over the toad. if you kept toads you would harvest the poison through the gland behind the eye, dry it, then smoke. the bufotoxin is NOT deadly to humans. there is much info on how it was used to treat patients.
